Okay, so re-iterating that I am not a pervert, and officially stating that this is a real question about society, I'd like to ask:

Why do you wear underwear?

More specifically, bras for girls and undershirts for boys. Is it out of modesty or actual need?

because i grew up with it.

and it makes sense because girls get discharge. why would you want to get vaginal fluids in your jeans?

Well, really, the discussion about the question was whether wearing a bra was out of acutal necessity or being modest, but I said underwear so it's applicable to both boys and girls

If not, you can get infections. Plus, its called a private part/area for a reason. Underware keeps it private.

Don't know where I heard this from, but wearing underwear makes laundry a lot nicer and easier to do (less mess). I can understand that for both guys and girls, but bras...I guess it's to hold boobs in place and not show the nipples when the girl's wearing a thin see through shirt?

I wear underwear and bra because I always have and feels weird without it.

I force myself to wear them.I never really liked wearing underwear as a child.And I still dislike wearing them

well i don't always, LOL.
sometimes i'm just not in a "underwear" mood.
but i think the reason we DO wear them is because
of the horrid itch or the crotch riding-up
that that pant seam gives up.
but with skirts? maybe so those perverts can't
see our private areas throughly. or what about
those menstrating girls? LOL.
but guys? they've got a package to keep in check LOL!
but yeah.
and what about people that have to change in a locker
room. i don't think the whole high school class wants
to see your prince henry, LOL.
when i don't give a hell about riding up, itching, or

Mostly, we as humans wear them due to the fact that they are expected to be worn, and also because they are comfortable.


Bu seriously (im not a pervert) but if a guy puts on jeans without underwear it sure as anythign is uncomfortable mellow.gif

Agreeing with Maggie completely on this one. And I would feel weird not wearing them, because simply I grew up with them. I would feel really weird without a bra especially growing up because I was around a C cup from 12 to around 14 and then now a b cup.

I wear underwear... most of the time...

sometimes they're just unnecessary. or I forget to put them on. I usually wear them with jeans though... oouch.

And I use pads on my period, so....that wouldn't really be good.
