it's quiet,
underneath the pavilion it is dry
while elsewhere in the valley a river is made
no one suspected with such gentle rain
the blood of their kin would flow
the sun not long gone,
but gone even so,
they were close to going home
they didn't know how close they truly were
just when they thought it was over
there came another wave
more cries for vengeance
the terror set in
and their hands start to shake
they're wondering if they'll last the night
and live to see another day,
another light
they're on their knees in the dark,
trying not to be seen
and here she comes bearing and blaring arms
a man behind another stopped crawling
and began to scream
the dirt became bloody mud
patience was not present in the chaos
his pain was providing a target in the dark
finally someone pushed past
and they all heard the crack
and the magnified lapse as the body hit soil with a thud

but there is more to this story than we know
there is a slow ebb and a quicker flow
these men are trekking danger's path
and her fury was harsher than a cheater's math
her bullets were in earnest
but they didnt last forever
her blast died down for a short moment
the crew saw a way out of the darkness
they continued their crawl
and came upon their enemy
with grim smiles
they actually thought they'd won

but tamara takes no survivors
she'd rather die along with them
then die and let them that's harmed hers
live and walk to do it again
she let them get close
even felt and smelt the harsh breath against her skin
and then she pulled it

out of the atmosphere it was witnessed
the last of the lights below had blazed brightly for an instant
before the end and extinguish

this is really moving and i can really picture it in my mind
very dark, but very good
the only thing i i dont really like is the line:
the sun not long gone,
but gone even so,

i dont know, it just sounds kinda choppy
