im 5'6'' and to me.. that's pretty tall for a girl
i guess i would be picky to go for guys taller than me hahahaha! if i like a guy.. i hafta make sure that he's taller! i don't know.. it's just kind of a turn off if a girl is holding hands with a guy shorter than me. well not really a turn off.. i just don't think it's cute.  what do you think?? would you go out with a guy shorter than you no matter the personality?? |

Well most of my friends are short asian guys so yeah... but I do like guys that I find attractive to be taller than me. I'd just rathernot hafta bend down to kiss them... makes me feel like I'm kissing my friend Blake whose little like 10 and he's my mini-boo.

Well, I'm not that tall to begin with, so a lot of the guys around me are taller than me. But, I agree with x_pinaystyle_x. I don't really like it when the girl is taller than their boyfriend. There's just something off about it.

at roughly 4'11" i dont really have to worry about whether he's taller than me. and if he's not taller than me, then that's sad and a turn off. but i'm always concerned about how complicated it would be if he were TOO tall...

i get kind of iffy about having to bend down to kiss a guy too.
luckily for me, i'm 5"3 so i don't have that issue. but if i did... i'd say i'd still go out with the guy. given he had a great personality. |

I wouldn't mind if he were an inch or less shorter than me, especially if I really liked him. I'm 5'8" but at my age, all but two of my guy friends are at least my height or taller than me.

Last year I went out with someone who was shorter then me. I was 5'6" and he was 5'3". I liked him a lot so height didnt really matter for me.

That's not that tall for a girl, it's more average. I'm 5'8". My boyfriend is 6' or maybe 6'1", so it's like the perfect height. I dated a guy before who was shorter than me... it was pretty awkward at times. I'd prefer them to be taller, but it isn't too big of a deal.

I don't think I've ever dated anyone shorter than me; there was one who was the same height as me, but.. yeah. Hrm. I guess I never thought about it before, but it is rather nice to have a guy that's taller than you.

 i'm 5'6 - 5'7 and all my guy friends say I'm pretty tall for a girl. I suppose I'm the same way I always have to have a guy that is taller than me. I don't really know why its just something that I know I like and I don't like. Although whats really bad is a lot of guys that are about 3-6 inches shorter than me always like me

I'd find it really weird if the guy was shorter than me, but some short guys can be really cute! If I truly liked him, I don't think I would mind. But I have to say that shorter guys my age tend to look like little kids.
I'm 5'5", so it's not too often that a guy is shorter than me. I'd prefer the guy to be taller/the same height as me if I wear heels, so I'd like a guy to be at least 5'7". |

seem too tall. I'm just shy of 6 feet tall, and yeah, I totally agree with you, I want a guy who's taller than me. And I also agree that it looks better when girls have bfs who are taller than them. unfortunately for me.....its a bit difficult to find guys taller than me. lol. I don't know if this sounds bad, but I get kinda upset when I see girls who are like 5'2 or something dating a guy who's like 6'2, when they could easily go for someone who's 5'5. Last year I went out with a guy who was around 5' and I was around 5'4, I admit, it was a little weird bending down to hug him and kiss him. We broke up but we are still pretty good friends.
Im around 5'5 so its not that hard to find a guy taller or the same height as me. I prefer them to be taller or the same height but if they were short and had a great personality I would date him, if I didnt just because of his height thats just wrong. |
