Please don't make me add a question to this post to validate it. sad.gif

I don't know why, but lately I feel like if I don't pour some great response into a reply, I can't bring myself to add it. Before, I'd type my say, add it, and let it be. But lately, there's this urge in me to make sure that my post all elaborate and full and all that. shrug.gif

I guess because each post gives off a great deal of how the poster's personality really is. As for myself, I feel I was in your before situation--I could have a good opinion about something, but I couldn't bring it all into one post. But I don't see it as a bad thing that your posts are very elaborate, infact, I envy it. Being opinionated and detailed is a good thing, Kaycee. wink.gif

There's no rule saying you must add a question.

I'm on and off with this. Sometimes, I'll take my time and read my post over a few times to make sure I've explained and explained well. Other times, I'll be fine with giving a short, but straight-forward response. Also, I sometimes feel as though elaborating will just confuse me and make me add "fluff" to the post.

I know there isn't, but it's like OCD with me, that voice in my head telling me to add a question. oro.gif

I know how you feel, Kaycee. Whenever I make a new topic and just add a whole chunk of a paragraph, it makes me feel as if it comes off of more of a rant.

I feel like that a lot too. Sometimes I want to mention something but I feel like it's not enough to help that person or contribute to that topic, although sometimes a short response could be able to explain things better than a long complicated one.

I don't ever put 100% thought into my posts. I'm not going to pour out how I feel to people who truly don't understand or know me well enough to value what I have to say. There's a lot of topics that I read and don't post in, but that's just me.

^Good point. The ratio, sometimes, of topics read vs. topics I post in can go as low (high?) as 25:1. ermm.gif

You fear judgement and criticism in the Mod performance thread.

....would that be to me? Not at all; as long as it's constructive and specific, then the light is green.

-shrugs- I just type what I'm thinking in my posts. I don't really mind if anyone actually gets it or not because most of the time your post isn't actually going to be read. That's just how it is on a lot of forums, don't get me wrong some people do read all the posts in some topics although most commonly it isn't done.

Although for the topic title, Time is money. Why waste your time doing something that isn't worth it. Especially if you don't think its worth it wink.gif?

I'm never coherent. -shrug- I don't really care, it's just a get-out-what-you-think type situation.
