In Flames, Trivium, Lamb of God. You know.
There's a metal club... it's kinda lost.

Kind of a broad question, seeing as how I listen to everything from Last Days Of Humanity to My Dying Bride and Sonata Arctica to Putrid Pile...

I have been majorly exposed to European bands. While not being a metal fan per se I do like some of Helloween's songs (when they play fast). Also a friend and me used to do a mind blowing cover of Judas Priest's rocka rolla, although that's just a hard rock song :B.

Helloween is my favorite power metal band; I can't get much into many other power metal bands because of the cheesiness / vocals.

I like listening to 70's rock mostly, although I am pretty much open to all kind of styles.

My listening to heavy metal was accidental at first, for I had to share a room with a relative that is quite the family's metal maniac. After that I kept listening to random songs, although I never followed a band or a specific metal genre so my knowledge of this musical field is kind of vague.

Still, I went to see Helloween play live in the late 90's during the tour that followed the release of the album "Time of the Oath", and man did they sound great. Michael Weikath is a true guitar hero.
