How long do you take looking over your post before adding the reply or making a topic? How often do you end up going back to edit your post?

lol, nice.

Um, I quickedit pretty often. It doesn't take me long to post, unless I'm checking some coding on livejournal or myspace. I hate when I accidentally hit quote instead of edit, though. I've cut back on that lately though. (Yes!)

I just skim through it to catch my mistake. Usually, I find my spelling/grammar error as I finish typing the word/sentence.

Haha, and sometimes I just type wrecklessly and just hit reply.

Usually, I type in a post pretty quickly unless I need some time to think. I have hit add reply a bit too early a couple of times and my post came out as complete spam. mellow.gif Sometimes, I make the worst typos ever. I quickly edit it. (Yay for quick edit!!)

Most times I post pretty quickly, I usually only edit my post in the resource center. Most times I posted something or typed it out wrong.

Nowadays, I end up typing something in as a reply, then going to "quick edit" as soon as it's posted. Either to take something out, add something in, or simply correct some sort of grammatical error. pinch.gif

Watch, I'll probably come back and edit this post even. ermm.gif

Edit: Yep, I spelled, "grammatical" wrong the first time. stubborn.gif

Not often. I hardly even look over my posts. And I don't use the "Add Reply" button.

I throb.gif the Fast Reply button.

When I do need to edit that spelling mistake or some punctuation mistake, I use the Quick Edit button.

Yes! I hate when that happens! I don't do it often, but when I do, it's so annoying. ermm.gif

Dang, I read the thread wrong. hahaha
So I just edited. Erm. I usually read over my posts AFTER or while I'm adding the reply. (while as in after I hit "add reply" and its loading).

I don't even want to get into how badly I had edit posts when I was first modded. There were all these new buttons and the plus signs and the check marks were things I'd constantly hit on accident.

I never really use the Fast Reply option. Well, now I am because you guys made me curious about it. It somehow feels, I don't know, naked? Like there's not enough options. It's very strange, not sure if I'll reply like this again. o.O

I still edit my replies alot. I do this even AFTER previewing a post. I just never get it right the first, second, sometimes third time around. I think faster than I type, although I type pretty darn fast. I just don't ever look at the keyboard when I type. It's sort of this self-competition I have with myself. Yeah, that sounds strange.

Mmmk. Long reply done now.

I edit mine all the time... xD

I figure, as long as no-one replied I'm still in the green to edit my post. If someone replies to my post however, I never edit it. Unless I state otherwise.

Depends on the post and on the thread it's going to be included. Generally I try to preview all the posts a few times around before hitting enter to make sure the grammar is acceptable and that there aren't atrocious spelling errors.

Sometimes I even try to make sure the words flow easily when read although that usually happens when I write long posts, which is nowadays a fading trait, but still.

Pretty much the same here. I usually don't look to see if I've made typos until after I've posted, so I use the quick edit to fix it.

I make sure I don't make any mistakes. But usually, if I write something long, I don't bother to see if I've made any sense.

I spell check about seventy-five percent of my posts because Meli (Fabio.) makes fun of my spelling errors, but usually (say right now) when I feel tired... I don't.

I kinda do the same thing, but usually I'm not quick enough. I'll see this huge mistake and be like "OH NO I HAVE TO FIX IT", so then I go back, edit the post, refresh the page, and someone's posted right after me quoting my original post. Busted!

^OMGYES. I've been quoted so many times with misspellings that I get so sad that there's no point in editing my original post because everyone already knows I made a mistake from the quoted version. mellow.gif
