It's alright for a simple one I guess. To me, it just seemed that you just did brushes and thats it. (x Not too creative. >.<

yeah, but untill my tablet comes im stuck doing simple stuff >.<.... also i wanted one that was simple and not distracting

poorly done... far to simple... and it seems u used some of my codes... and took the comment box from this layout

and what i mean by poorly done is there seems to be no creativity... i have those brushes...

i am sorry that i have very little experience, and so used your comment box and layout killer code.... also i like very simple layouts. i meant no offense and hope i did not come on as a layout jock and i am sorry if i did.

No wonder I recognized the layout font/comment bo. So, that's who it was, blaqheartedstar. (x

As long as you ask for permission then I pretty much sure its fine & give credits.

Hmm, I feel bad being overly critical but...it's the only way to improve, right? I think you failed on account of going for a 'dark' div...it does give that impression either on colours, or concept.

I pretty much agree with Amanda and Ralph in terms of lack of creativity with brush use. If you're gonna create a layout based on brushes, probably try to find a set with more options so you have more scope to play with. Otherwise, try stock images or fan stuff e.g., celebrity images.
