Do you usually live life acting naturally, without much thinking about your actions? Or are always conscious of how you're acting and what you're doing?

I am in constant conflict over which is better, and usually, with things I can't decide on, I try to find the balance between the two. But I can't because, really, they feel too different. If I'm purposely doing something, then that defeats the purpose of the first. The first is the most "real", and I've come to realize that some of the best things in life come spontaneously without much thinkin at all. But at the same time, I want to be the best person I can be, and sometimes the "natural" me is a terribly mean, crass individual.

Same problem for me too. But I choose to be spontaneous because a part of me is random and carefree and the latter choice involves thinking too much which hurts my noggin. It sucks however when you do something to offend someone without realizing it or meaning to do it at all.

My motto is to leap without looking, why bother looking if you can't see what's there? Win big or die trying (metaphorically speaking... most of the time).

I don't bother thinking about the consequences because you have to face them sooner or later. So yeah i'd think that I just live life naturally. I just take each action as my personality would take it.

I think it would be kinda weird if you stopped for a second every time you did something. So i just do whatever comes along. Like Funky Buddha said, you'll have the face the consequences sooner or later anyway.

No. I don't think twice before I act. The consequences can end up being life changing for the better.

I never bother thinking about what I'm doing, which is probably why I'm always losing things, screwing up in school, etc etc.

I'm horrible.

i`m always carefree when i`m with my immediate family, some cousins and my close friends.

on the other hand, if i`m at a formal party or if i`m just in a place with people i don`t know, i`m usually very uptight.

If I'm around people that I can really be myself around, I usually don't have to think twice before I act, because they're people who already like me for who I am and that includes my behavorial habits. But if I'm in a situation where making a decision affects the outcome of something, then I'll think before doing anything.

You guys are so fortunate. It's not really a self-esteem issue I have, or anything about morale, but I guess I've been really into the intentions of actions. Like, I remember when in the first grade, all the "popular" girls would make this big deal about whether something was "on purpose" or an "accident". And back then, I was like "What the heck? Why does it matter?"

Looking back, I don't think they had the greatest intentions with their question of purpose vs. accident, but they had an idea going there. I'm just not sure which will lead to a better life; a life filled with constant spontaneous happiness and mistakes or a careful, progressive, if not too planned out, life.

It depends. If I'm hanging with friends, I feel like I can do whatever I want and still be comfortable.

If it concerns like school or parents, I'd always think about what I'm going to say or do, just so that I don't get into trouble, and etc etc.

I've always been the one to think before I spoke or went out and did some thing. My sister was the complete oppisite and when I use to see how much trouble she got in, I suppose it was somewhat like instinct. xD

Also the matter of the situation that is occuring at the time has a impact on the decision as well.
