I have a bunch of short videos I recorded on my camera saved on my computer. They're all saved in .AVI format, and I can't get them to import into iTunes.

I tried "File<Import<double-click file" but that didn't work. I also copied one and converted it to .mp4 format, and that didn't work either.

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hmm, that's interesting, MP4 files should work with iTunes.

Try this.

If that doesn't work, what version of iTunes do you use?

iTunes 7

All I'm doing to change the video to .mp4 is rename the extension to that...is that basically what you're supposed to do?

Is there any way for me to convert the videos without having to download a program? =/ Does iTunes itself provide anything?

Changing the extension doesn't work. And iTunes doesn't have anything that would be able to convert AVI files.
Try downloading this and convert the videos to the correct format. It's a pretty small file and it's free. _smile.gif
