I ordered some clothes from both Abercrombie and Hollister Co. and selected Standard shipping since I wasn't too keen on spending $20+ to get them in 2 days. On the website it said 7-10 business days.

First off, if anyone who has shipped these clothes before:

1) Do you know if 7-10 days is fairly accurate? Or is it more/less?
2) Can someone explain business days to me? Do Saturdays count? ugh.
3) If I live in Washington and the clothes are located in like, Ohio, do you think I'll get them by March 1st (the day I have to go on a class trip)?

Mmm, yeah. I'd appreciate any help I can get. Their shitty Package Tracker did NO GOOD for me.

Moved to Fashion.

If it gets delivered by the time it said it should, you'd definately not get it in time. March 1st is in like.. 5 days, not counting buisness days. IThere's just like.. no way. Buisness days are usually mon-fri. I highly doubt Saturday is one. It's probably going to be more than 7-10 days. They always get here late. Though, I have no personal experience with shopping from them online, so I may be wrong. Why would you even order it right now if you need it by the 1st?

No, I ordered it on the 22nd. And I actually meant the 2nd of March is the latest I need it. That makes it to be about 8 days.

business days are everything but the weekend. like saturday and sunday arent business days. i bought from them before it took a decent amount of time.

shipping and delivery are two different things.

shipping-means how long it takes for them to get the item ready to ship out.
delivery-means how long it takes to get to your house. So first comes shipping then the additional days are the delivery. Thats where they trick you, you are only paying for how fast they get the item prepared for delivery, when you pay extra its not going to get to you as fast as you think

i.e. they make a computer for you and it takes one week [this process is shipping] but then the delivery takes 2 weeks. So it takes you three weeks to get your computer in.

it also depends on where they are shipping it from, if they have a warehouse close to you then mostlikely it will take 1-5 days. but if you are far then it takes longer.

The tracker is only activated after shipping, after they get the package out, then they are going to track where your package is going. Since you live in washington it will probably take the longest. So you definately wont be able to check up on it the day you ordered it.

i order from there all the time. um usually they confirm it on the next day. and then you wait until the day after tomorrow to get it. So about 3 days? then again, I live in ny, so it might make a slighty difference.
