Don't you hate it when you spend a lot of time or effort into doing something for someone and it turns out that they already have one or they know what it is? Like if they asked you a question and you go looking for the answer and the next day you answer them, they said they've already found the answer hours ago. sad.gif

That seems to happen to me a lot. I don't know whether it's cause I try to get things done too much or if I have bad timing.

I remember this one time we were waiting on line to pay for everything at BJ's (we were at the front of a very long line and we were next) My dad realized we were missing something so he sent me out to get it. Turns out, it was half way down the market and it was heavy too. So, I lug it and lug it and when I finally get there...he has it...

Has this ever happened to you?

Yes, plenty of times. A friend asks for homework help/answers, and by the time I'm done explaining it.."oh i got it already but thanks anyway" mellow.gif

Yeah. Especially when they ask me questions and I put a lot of effort finding out the answer then they tell me they found the answer long ago.

Yeah, it's happened to me before. They should look more carefully for whatever they need before asking others to get it for them and doing work for nothing. >.<

OMG, I haaaaaaaaate when that happens! It happens to me A LOT at school.
Like, I will walk all the way to the other side of the building to get something and then whoever asked me to get it is ALWAYS like "Nevermind". ureibshjkncaemnwquirtt4u8735qw9e4

It's highly frustrating.

MATH PROBLEMS.

Okay:

Person: "Did you already do number 11?"
Me: "Um..no, hold on, did you try it yet?"
Person: "No, not yet."
Me: "Okay...let me give it a try."
*few minutes of trying semi-difficult math problem*
Person: "Oh wait! Hold on, the answer's in the back."
Me in head: "OMGWTF!"

...of course, it's partially my fault because I should've known it's in the back, too. whistling.gif

it doesn't happen to me a lot. but i'm an impatient person so when i need help, i ask several people.

after awhile, i just thanked each person that helped me instead of going, "oh nevermind, i got it."

in the end, they still helped you so you can't say oh nevermind and make go away. i just thank them without telling them that i already knew.

Solves everything.

Eh this happens to me a lot. It just makes me feel as if people take advantage of me at times. I suppose I get over it though. I usually just shrug it off most of the time..

Yes =[ They ask me a hw question, and I look for the answer to their question before I do my homework. So the next day when I'm all excited about telling him/her the answer, they say "Well I already got it, thanks anyway."

It doesn't happen a lot but it does happen. It annoys me so much when I put so much into looking for what my friends ask me then they go, "oh wait, nevermind, I got it" And I go, "wait! I almost got it! grr!"
