changing display name color, confusion Options

i tried using <font color=COLOR>DISPLAY NAME</font>, but it didn't actually change my display name. It instead made my display name exactly what that code is up there. How do I fix it?

Do you mean the name above your main picture on your layout?

Use this instead then
