Okay so, let me fore warn you that there have been many other topics like this I asure you. So, if you've had enough, feel free to exit at any time.
So I've met this guy last year, he was cool and all, every girl in a 20 mile radius liked him and crap like that, right? Amazingly, I was immune to his charm. And apparently, it had grabbed his intrest. He started talking to me, ditching his girly groupies and we've gotten really close. Like seriously CLOSE. Almost every weekend after the cruise we went to a lake and went jet skiing/wake boarding together with our families. We had some common intrests, besides the huge fact that I was sad enough, not that attractive, and he was a god. (He also didn't like that fact that I loved rock and I didn't like that fact that he had a thing for rap.) As time did it's thing, we began to have a growing intrest in each other. We IM constantly and just now he's getting used to me calling him every once in a while and ASKS me to call. He's the type of guy that is shy and warms up to you over time, then he's a big flirt. Two weekends ago I swear I was about to slip up and kiss him. The whole point of this is to ask if I should actually take the plunge and kiss him, and perhaps ask him out. He's a sweet guy, but he's attractive and somehow I feel as if I don't deserve him. Although I am proud to say I have worked on my image and I do feel more confident when I talk to him, but it doesn't measure up. Also, this friday he's coming over to my school to shadow a friend, and I tried my damndest to not get paranoid over it, but I am afraid of him gaining intrest in another girl and even getting a new girlfriend. Everyone's told me to ask him out, but I've already told him that I liked him, and all he did was say, "Thank you for telling me that." And laughed that stupid cute laugh he always does. So any advice? I need major advice on this friday! |

If it's your first kiss, I don't think others can give you advice on whether or not you should. If first kisses actually matter to you, I think you should consider how you will see it years from now. Will it be someone you regret? Or will it be something you will treasure, even if you two are strangers in the same room?
Also, if it's your first kiss, it's probably going to be hard for you to 'plunge in' if you're the girl. But, if you are ready and willing, and since you two seem to be into each other, I suggest you do it! :) |

Yeah, I totally would too.
Or, like you said, ask him out. Do something alone with him and hint that you want it to be more. If he gets nervous or shy then wait a little longer, call him more often, but if he is totally comfortable with it KISS HIM! I don't know, I'm just trying to give some ideas because it definitely isn't comfortable to just go up to him and kiss him. I can understand that. |

Oh defintely, I already invited him over this weekend! O.o I know huh? But the thing is, I'm paranoid about the girls and what not. What sucks is that he doesn't go to my school so we won't get to spend valentine's together. D: I will call him more often! Just because you said so! [No joke.] Hopefully he wouldn't act awkward if I do kiss him right? |

Don't worry about the girls. I dislike girls so much sometimes! Haha, They're not going to do anything. The worst is they're probably going to talk about you, but you can just tell yourself that you're the one who is going out with him. =]
Yay for calling! & you never know how someone is going to act and i don't want to tell you he won't act awkward. it's a risk! but seriously, judging from how he acted when you told him you liked him he will probably take it extremely well even if he doesn't like you that way (which is unlikely judging from your description). To be able to say, "thank you for saying that" and laugh and not be awkward like most guys would be...that's great! |

If anything, I was the one feeling awkward. QUOTE for friday, hang out w/ your friend a lot. With him or my other friends? |

Do you really like him or are you just merely attracted to him?
In either case, still kiss him. |

He's probably just a player. Maybe that's why a lot of girls like him. I don't suggest you kiss him. Since you seem to hold dearly your first kiss, you should spend it on a guy who states that he likes you back and you do as well.
