For one thing, that coding removes both the blog and the extended network. For another, advertising competing sites is not allowed.
In any case, to my knowledge, there is no way to remove only the blogs and leave the extended network behind. |

Well why exactly do you want to keep you extended network there? Just to have it or do you have a custom extended network. If you do have a custom extended network you can use the code in the scripts to hide your blogs and extended network, but make sure to leave your custom extended network code there and it should still stay there..
