Have you ever recorded yourself and listened to what your voice sounded like? If you have, were you surprised and how you actually sounded the first time your heard your voice?

I remember a few years ago I watched a video and heard my real voice for the first time, it was haaaaila different from how I thought it'd be; it's a lot lot higher.

AH yea, I went to Disney world last year and my parents had to take the video camera and apparently when they re-played the video my voice sounded really weird. They told me I really didn't sound like it though and the video camera was just messed up.

I hope they were right.


Then I have a video of myself on youtube that my cousin took and I told him to turn off the video camera, I never knew I had that odd of an accent pinch.gif

mine was a lot lower than i expected. it was really weird. my voice sounds..so odd.

it doesnt even sound like me!

I thought I sounded more Asian.. XD.gif I listened to my voice earlier last year and I was like "HOLY CRAP, THAT'S ME?!" I don't really have an accent. If anything, it's just plain American English with a hint of New York.

It's humorous sometimes. I often talk real low, so people are like "What?" lol. Oh well. Somebody has to have a sexyMANvoice... so it may as well be me.

I've been told I sound like a man. Didn't really bother me cause I know my voice is really low for a girl.

I've also been told I sound like Carrie Underwood when I sing, so I guess it is not that bad.

Well, Everyone tells me I sound like my best friend..... BUT when I listen to a voice recording of myself, I dont think I sound like her.
Yeah, idk. It's weird. I don't sound much different than I thought, So that is good.

My voice sounds just... gross on video. I don't know. It sounds really high-pitched and I talk a lot faster than I think I do, haha. pinch.gif

Haha yeah, my cousins an I recorded our selves singing back when we were 9/12/11 around there, and you can spot my voice right off the back -.-, but yea, now it's so weird, I hate hearing myself.
