problem with photoshop cs2, brushes.

why do my brushes look like this now?
they use to look like the one on the red circle.
what happened? how do i fix the problem?
i use photoshop cs2 and i run windows xp

Could it possibly be the file extension? Or have they not been working?

they all work! everything is good it just bothers me that they look like that i want them to look with the original icon

that kind of thing happens when u change the file extension. but if you say that you never changed it then i dont kno sorry...

If they all work then why does it really matter? Sometimes computers and photoshop mess up files sometimes.

If they work you don't need to change the extension. If they didn't work then you would need to change it to a .abr . But I agree with what Jackie said...

well i was just wondering if i could get the icons back to their original ones.. i never changed the extension.. but its allright.

-sigh- Are you really that upset over it?

Right click -> Properties -> Opens With: (change it to Photoshop).

It should change all the icons back, but I don't see why it's that big of a problem. mellow.gif

serk don't worry about it reli just likes to say things to get people mad but anyways did you fix your problem? do you need anymore help?

try reloadingthem, like drag them to your desktop and drag them back?
