Conqueror
Soft-spoken words with concentrated implications associated with a prevailing glance; that is how I execute. I execute with a powerful force, however I am very weak. There are so many flaws in the mind of a conqueror even with its power and authority, however I am marvelous and perfect whenever I am asleep or conscious; I have a sense of right and wrong. My morals are right; they are sincere. My lies are truths; my truths are truths. I am not scared of hidden, unseen obstacles; I conquer them independently. The expressions I have never expressed are expressed through excessive displeasure. I watched it go, watched it fade and gawked as it washed away. I cried from anger, anger in myself. I let the one thing that makes me happy and smile disappear. Why was I so ingenuous and naive? I leave a shadow of where I am and where I will soon be. In my mind I am marvelous and flawless but in my heart and soul, I am flawed. Right now, I am neither asleep or conscious; I am a conqueror, conquering my imperfections. |

I love little snippets of prose like these.
Poetic but not poetry and insightful but not pretentious. I like it, but I don't think I'm awake enough to take in more than face value right now. |
