I am thinkin about making my own personal website with a domain etc. I want to have a forum and a place for people/friends to comment and a comment form. I want to know how to do that, a website or something? Thanks in advance.
ps. i'm probably gonna download Dreamweaver |

If you want a forum just good and read about xmb software . There are other types though I think its call phpbb. (the other one) Anyways You have two options blogging program or just comment form. For the comment form: http://haloscan.com For the blogging program : Wordpress (I recomend this one), Moveable type, b2, cute news etc. I really recommend wordpress but it is sort of confusing i'll tell you that. |

yeah i have used wordpress, i was so confused to the max l0l
so for the comment form i use haloscan so my friends/visitors can comment on my work etc.? ps. i want a comment page/forum like this: beyonce's fan page w/ comment form |

For something like that you need a blogging program. With haloscan its just a normal code that allows people to comment in a popup window and thats where all your comments show.

oh another question, if i buy a domain (a website name) is the host where you put the code for my website?

If you buy a domain you have to get hosting. You can either buy that or try to find a free domain host. Once you do that you have to create an ftp account. (sometimes it automatically created for you) Then you upload all your files that you make on your computer through ftp into the public_html folder. (This may be different depending on your host)
