Yeah, they're fine; it's just annoying having to look at a screenshot when you could preview full functionality of the layout. Why don't you try submitting it to cB? They look good enough. And you don't have to create a Myspace for every new layout; link us to a 1024x768 image host copy.

Well I was on staff and will be back again in about 2 weeks or well should be going back. But I can see why they wouldn't have accepted them I guess, did you e-mail the person back and ask them exactly why they rejected your layouts because their kind of supposed to tell you but we have new staff members so they may not be doing that so much now... I know one person is but not so sure about the others.


anywayyyy I think their kind of cute, I think you used to many brushes on them and their extremely common brushes too. I think if you put a spin of originality on it instead of just using brushes they would be more well liked. Also perhaps add a background color then just having that default grey. It doesn't look right and would look better if you set it to a pink thats on the outside of the image ya' know? Same goes for both, also could I see them on a actual myspace so I can really tell you if there is something extreme that needs improving.

I've rejected some of your layouts. But when you asked me why I replied. And I think we got that cleared up.

I think they're good for some of your first divs, but it would be nice to see them on an actual myspace just to see how they function and other effects.

Well just put one up on a myspace so we can see one of them atleast, ya know?

Anyway to change background colors just add this:

Put it in your About me coding and change the # to the color you would like to be the background color. You may also need to add it to your who id like to meet section if you use firefox, sometimes its odd like that.

Hm, maybe you could try blending the images... instead of just having the images with borders. I think they could look really good if you added a bit more css, like to the comment boxes (button). One thing I think would really help would be Ricky's navigation script. It will improve having just plain links

i agree, and ur myspace link is still private

but from what i can see they need a bit of help and Intercourse told you all that was needed, where does the person's info go? all i see from the previews are pics, comments, and the nav
you might want to cut down the excessive brushes and large image and pay more attention to the wants of the people u are trying to reach.

these are A LOT better than a lot of layouts that have been accepted... i don't know why they wont accept them but i really like them and would like the chance to use them. how are they telling you the brushes you used are "too common?" maybe that's just your style, and maybe some people like that style, too! i really love these and good job! sucks you can't share them though
