Get him some flowers. Some nice white roses. Hahahha.

If you have money, use some of it. Don't be cheap cause I'm suer he wont. But make sure you let him give you a gift first. Cause if it is something that he made, you'll have a back up..like a card that you made or something. ahaha. Or just give him what you bought...And make him feel bad. HAHA.

I don't know. I like jewelry. Not like, bling bling silver crap, but like fishing line and beads. That's just me though.

What Jakekking said.

Anyway, what's your boyfriend like? We can't give any personal advice if it's just a question.

Cologne is a good idea. Since there's not something that he deffinately wants maybe find out something that he needs. shrug.gif Ask his friends if he's mentioned something that would be nice to have.

I got a gold heart with the words, 'Je t'aime' in-graved on it. 'Je t'aime' means 'I love you' in French.

I plan to bring her to a spot where there are many stars, when we spot a shooting star, I will ask her to close her eyes and ask her to make a wish. I will kiss her and give her the present _smile.gif

Lol hopefully my plan works whistling.gif

Please don't take that the wrong way. But if you do something different then he may remember it. Although guys I know are a bit different..

I guess you could try what Cat suggested laugh.gif

don't spend a penny on someone you aren't deeply involved with. Just write a deepppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp poem or something, sing, take her out to eat but don't pay for her.

Oh, God. Come on. You can't get anymore teen romance movie than that. Make sure you bring a stereo so you can play some crappy ass love song in the background. XD.gif

Then lean over to kiss her as the camera pans out.

Why does everyone feel the need to do these uber gay romantic things? It's not necessary. I mean, yeah, every once in a great while. I just think it's dumb and overrated, personally. That's just me though.

valentines and christmas are really all about bragging rights. Christmas is when you tell everyone what he got you, and Valentines is what he did for you. It's kind of nice to feel special, and do cheesy things on that day though.

I guess this is an extremely cheesy idea but it's also original. This year for valentine's day I am going to fill a gumball machine that I bought for boyfriend with his favourite kind of candy, then I am going to buy sticker paper and print out photos of us and make a picture collage on the base of the machine (basically everywhere except the glass globe).
Tacky, cheesy? yes.. but I'll make him like it. =p

I might also buy him a calling card cause we're long-D and he ends up paying for most of it.

I think the key in significant other gift giving is to give one nice/practical thing for every cheesy thing. Like for Christmas I got him a stuffed animal of Goofy (his favourite cartoon character) and -attempted- to sew "I <3 you" on it, and made him a card. But I also gave him a nice jacket and I'm pretty sure he was quite fond of the gift altogether.

If he likes video games, maybe something video game related. Or if he has a favorite sports team...take him to a game? I don't know. Uhhh.

Dog tags w/ people's picture in it are popular over here.

Well...they're getting old actually.

That's all I can think of.
