How do you lose stomach weight without losing in any other places? Is that even possible? I run everyday &excersize for like maybe 10 minutes every day, which is not a lot. Should I watch what I eat?

Yes, definitely try to eat healthier. That doesn't mean totally cutting out junk food and extremely high-fat food, but just eat them in moderation and try to replace them with healthier snacks instead.

Try working out for at least 20 to 30 minutes a day. Ten minutes a day won't really help you lose your stomach fat unless it's some really intense exercise you're doing. Also try to vary the kind of stomach/ab exercises you do because if you do the same ones every day, your body gets used to them and you won't burn as much fat.

Ab Lounge, I swear by it. Start out with 200 a day - 4 sets of 50. They're easy to do, I promise. If I could do it of all people, there's no excuse for anyone else not to. After a while, work your way up to 500 a day.

Well if you do ab workouts you'll also need to watch what you eat. YOU CAN'T LOSE FAT BY DOING CRUNCHES. I think it's so stupid that people actually believe that. A flat stomach starts in the kitchen.

By a good diet and a good workout. Try getting a portion of fruits and veggies everyday. Doing reach ups can do you good. wink.gif

if you start to lose weight, you will see it around the face. always no matter what kind of weight loss.

even if you are working on your abs, the fat burned off there will allow fat from other places to go there.

you have to have a no fat face and then the stomach fat will go sooner or later.

sometimes the stomach fat isn't really fat. its like a loopy colon or something... it is caused by the poo stuck in you colon and it accumulates over time. and weighs it down... in that case, use a colon cleanser.

and you need to know if it is fat or water in there. if it is water weight then decrease your citrus fruits (take vitamin C tablets) and increase protein. if it is fat, then exercise will work.

^ depends where you look. the one i found was 240 dollars. ouch

you can use six second abs. you sit in a chair and do it. not with the ab lounge that is a really big thing to maneuver. and the money to buy it.

Is that the one with the red seat and you twist side to side? Maybe not. I get all the core machinery confused. pinch.gif They're so many!

Anyways, here's some tips:
  1. Cardiovascular Exercise - whether it should range from running to jump rumping, this'll help you lose the fat in the stomach area for your muscles to show through.
  2. Abdominal Exercise - Crunches, situps, planks...etc. This will help you to define your abs and lose weight in that area quicker (concentrate on your obliques more so, especially if you're just trying to lose weight.)
  3. Eat healthier - Salt makes you bloated, and fatty foods aren't going to help you.

Um, I'm sorry but 10mins is barely anything. BUT I do give you props for at least doing something then nothing b/c the younger generation is going downhill w/ excercise and diet. You should try to aim for at least 30mins and move up to 60mins. And eating right and healthy is a MUST! Without it, the excercise doesn't balance out. I lost 20lbs this past summer by running and eating right. First it was hard for me, but you have start off at least 30mins and move it on up. Try to fit it in at least 5 days a week. Now I'm up to 90mins (1hr and a half) to 2hrs and its going to be hard to break habits and get into the running mode; but you'll get through it.

i`m always saying that im fat now.
cuz im usually very busy every week. i have alot of work. T_T;
& so when i come home i play and then start hw at like 10. by the time im done its like 12. then i sleep and wake up around 6 or 7.
& i eat alot.

but then now.. . i try not to eat that much.. .
& when my stomach is empty.. i still feel fat in there..
i think im bloated.. cuz if u look at me physically you won't say im fat.. .

-- -

i try to do sit-ups & crunches everyday.. but i always forget.
i can do around 20~50 only.

how much is average sit-ups?
is there any other way of losing stomach fat with out doing "sports-ish exercise" ?
& sit ups aren't work`n soo well..
& plus i gained a lot of lazyness.
i try running but after 10 laps i can't move anymore.
i try jump roping but after 20 i just gave up. cuz of my wieght & i quit jump-roping along time.. .
i ride my bike up & down the street 2x & i can't move anymore.
cuz my street is really long & my bike is really heavy.. .
my sister`s bike is much lighter.. .

I've never really had much stomach fat (I'm lucky I know) I do 200 - 300 sit ups a day or every 2 days, so that helps keep me in shape and it's helping me towards getting that six pack I want.

Best thing to do is sit ups, start of light then do more, eat more healthy stuff like vegetables, fruits, pasta, tuna, chicken. Also running and cycling for about 20-30 minutes will help.
I more or less follow this guideline and i'm definitely seeing the benefits. I recommend it.

No, you can't "spot reduce" or lose weight in one place only.
It's possible to recieve more benefits for one part of the body than another, though.

I go running on an almost daily basis and this keeps my stomach flat.
I also work out 2-3 times a week for 90 minutes.
Apart from excercise, I really try to avoid sodas and fatty foods like McDonalds, KFC, chips, etc. whenever I can...

I have to emphasize that no matter how hard you work out, you won't see anything unless you change your eating habits too.

Good luck! thumbsup.gif
