Would u feel more safer going to a Death Metal Concert full of mosh pits/pot heads or a Hip Hop Concert in a dangerous area? (Where there's shootings)

I don't like hip/hop music at all pinch.gif It gives me the worst headache of all time most of the time. I'm not exactly sure how much I like shooting, so I would pick the mosh pits and pot heads because at least you can avoid those. The whole shooting thing can go for the worse pretty quickly.

Probably the Death Metal one with a moshpit. Chances of dying in a moshpit are less than being shot ten times by a bunch of drug addict gangsters or whatever. And you don't HAVE to be in the moshpit if you don't want to.

I hate both genres.. pinch.gif Death metal is too scream-y. Hip-hop is just.. ugh.

I've never been to a Hip Hop concert.... thank god.

I'd rather go to a metal concert anyday. Metal concerts are the best. You don't have to go in the mosh pit, you can always just stand there (haha!) or like headbang.

Well, since I live in a bad hiphop;rap filled area with shootings and stabbings/gangfights and all that bullshit and I love moshing, I'd say neither. But Id be more scared of getting shot and killed. Cos in moshing you can work your way out. Unless your superman and can deflect a bullet from your eye, you can't work yourself away from a bullet. Or if you Bruce Lee or some shit.

R&B is probably the closest to Hip-Hop i like now; old school hip-hop is okay.

I'd be fine at either, but I prefer more intimate settings for concerts anyway. If I want to see a band/group/singer bad enough, I'll see them no matter where the venue is.

Also, I've seen "pot heads" at Hip Hop concerts too. wink.gif It just isn't black and white like that. Vice versa as well, I've seen metal concerts in dangerous areas where shootings have happened.

Indeed... to be honest, I'd expect an indie kid to be stoned more than a death metaller. But whatever.

Assuming they were stoned, their not really going to bother me particularly, and you dont have to go into the mosh. Sit at the bar and watch people trash around. Actually sounds kind of fun.
