Programs you have: GIMPshop
Experience Ehh...I'm not a rookie but I'm definitely not experienced. I've made a bunch of avatars. I think I make okay icons. Aaand...a few banners. I've started many vectors. laugh.gif

I'm pretty sure I'm able to do this, but there needs to be more details about the whole contest and deadlines and such...
Basically, I've dabbled in a few things, but I'm not experienced at all.

Applicant can't participate any longer.

Someone has gotta want to help me out =)

Name: Maryland
Programs you have: Photoshop 7, ImageReady, Illustrator
Experience I know photoshop front and back. Imageready and illustrator are new to me though. I'd be interested in how to code a website layout using FTP & wp and stuff. I have a site, but I let Monet (http://exalte.org/ shes so talented) do all the hard stuff for me =P

I really really want to learn how to make a portfoilo site! happy.gif

Programs you have: Photoshop 7, MS Paint, Dreamweaver
Experience: I've read and done several tutorials, particularly on colorizing and creating vectors, but right now, most of my experience only extends to avatars. The pen tool has always eluded me, and hopefully this competition will see the end of that. I've done well with CSS and was once on a DIV layout making rampage, so I know I'm at least capable in that area.

Consider my application revoked indefinitely.

Programs you have: Photoshop CS, Flash, MS Paint, Dreamweaver
Experience: I'm pretty good with Photoshop, although I haven't done anything graphically for a while. I think once I sit down with PS again, it'll feel right as rain. I've got a good eye for colors and I don't mind creating a slew of layers for the good of a finished design/graphic/blend/etc. I also tend to like things that are simple, but eye catching yet has a bit of class to it, so when I'm designing something, I try to keep that in mind. ;-) I'm a definite novice with both Flash MXand Dreamweaver MX, but I do have both programs and have dabbled a bit with Flash MX. What I haven't done is coding. I've looked through code. I could probably bastardize someone's code (hey, I said I could, didn't say I would!) but would like to learn it first hand.

(PS, if there aren't enough "Stars", I'll back out... even though it was my idea. :-p (JK JK JK))

Application withdrawn for the time being.

Experience Erm I've created things, BUT THEY ARE SO UGLY ITS NOT FUNNY. I can't make anything for beans, Well I can, but they come out totally wrong. I can't choose color themes at all for graphics and CSS codes. I want to be better at CSS and coding websites. Also how to create great graphics.

Experience I've been doing this for a bit more than 2 years. I know I've done this a while, but I don't feel as if I've met my potential yet. I'm pretty okay with coding and designing, I know basically everything (tool wise) in Photoshop. But, my creativity is lacking A LOT.

Can no longer participate.

Programs you have: Adobe CS2 Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, InDesign, etc.)

Experience: The first time I really indulged in graphic and web designing was around April of 2006. I am able to get around Photoshop as far as photography goes. However, when it comes to actual graphic design, perhaps not so much.

I have experimented with the features of Photoshop, though I probably haven't even touched Illustrator, ImageReady, and I'm relatively weak with InDesign. I'd say I know the basics of creating layouts (designing and coding), however, I wouldn't say I have designed anything extraordinary or innovative, which I would love to be able to do.

My experience in photography may be able to help me when it comes to creativity. Advancement in graphic and web design (and animation via Flash, if offered) has always been one of my ambitions in order to further expand my horizons in digital art.

Where samples of my work can be found:

Programs you have: Photoshop 7.0, Imageready, MS Paint
Experience: I've made some graphics on photoshop and basically know most of the tools. (i have also had a bit of experience with cs2, if that helps.) I'm also pretty good with html/css that kind of stuff which i have used to make layouts and a few simple websites, nothing fancy. All i've done on Imageready was to image map before.

Applicant will not be able to participate.

Experience I'd say very experienced? I'm not satisfied all the time with my stuff, but i can do stuff like blends/collages/colourizations/vectors/etc. And I know where everything is. :P For coding? I'm okay, I've done some Xanga and Myspace. I can't really code a layout from scratch, but i can take a default layout and edit it to my liking?

Applicant says she's too busy to participate. --mona lisa

Experience I'm pretty experienced and I know my Photoshop very well, but when I fool around and try to make something look nice, it never seem to work out the way I want it to look. I'd definitely need more experience. I'm good at coding, but I can't code from scratch on my life. mellow.gif I'd really like to learn more about the programs I have, and HOPEFULLY learn something new. _smile.gif
