Photoshop is not free, so we can't help you with that.
The latest is indeed CS3, but i believe it's in sort of a demo version right now. Otherwise, it's CS2. You should buy it legally (and safely) from the Adobe website (adobe.com) or buy the software from some legitimate company. |

Adobe Photoshop [all versions] aren't free. You can always download the free trials.
 You can also ask a friend for the APS CD if they have it.
