my boyfriend is ten years older than me and had a bit of a drug prob...
he goes to court every other week to get drug tested ...he sometimes does a small amt of weed ...but its small enuff and long enuff b4 court that its out of his system by the time he goes to court...
anyway, this past time he smoked too much and the test came up positive, so he might have to go to jail for either a weekend or for 3 weeks...depending on how further testing goes...
well, we broke up about 3 weeks ago and got back together like a week late and i told him the reason i wanted to break up was becuz the drugs and the court stuff scares me and i just dont like it...
now if he does wind up having to go to jail i dunno if i should be like the supportive girlfriend and stick with him through this or if i should break up with him because i know he occasionally smokes a lil bit of weed and im ok with that...and this time he just made a mistake and smoked like 3 times...so it was really an error...its not like hes getting arrested for something that he was hiding from me or something crazy like that.
so i really dunno what to do

Well honestly? I'd break up with him. If he's still smoking, he still has a drug problem. I would get mad at him for smoking at all especially since he's got court comming where they're going to test him...

It's really up to you. He's 10 years older than you...and you feel uncomfortable with the things he's doing. How do you feel about him? Will you be willing to support him if it does happen? If you don't feel right about all this, I think it's just best if you end things.

Well then, I don't think that I can tell you very much. All I can say is, do what you think is best. Good luck, dear.

Have you discussed this issue with him, in a serious manner? He really should know how disappointing this is making you and that's it impacting your decisions and life in a way. If he really understands how you feel about this then maybe he could put an end to this. But all i can say is that, if you really 'love' this guy as much as you think, then stick by his side but try to encourage him to stop.

Do you think he's ever going to grow out of it. Just think, he's only smoking that much because the court is not allowing him t smoke as much as he wants to. He's going to smoke a lot more as he gets older. You can't spend the rest of your life with someone like that. Why waste your time. You have to love yourself to.

If i were you I would ask him to stop for a few weeks. Just to show you that he can and that

he cares enough about you that he will. If he cant even do that, he isnt worth it.
