So, some belated work in my graphics design class... we were supposed to make a real photo 2d-ish. So I did a pseudo-i-don't-have-time-to-do-a-lot-of-detail-or-eyebrows-vector-thing-y.
 I just thought it was cute... and it was a totally random picture... and according to my parents, it looks like me when I was a kid. |

Awww, how cute! My favorite part is the colors; the shading for the fur part is perfect and the you couldn't of chosen a better color for the lips.

Its very cute, although it looks like you just posterized the image really
 but it looks cute none the less. And I think you can notice it mostly in the facial things, (eyes and such)

I agree with Holly that is does look slightly posterized. Maybe adding more detail in the face and shadows would help. But for what it is right now, it looks really good.

That's such a neat task; to take a photo and make it 2D, it's almost always the other way round (take 2D, try to make it look 'real'). Anyways, I think it looks pretty good, I like the face - I think that's where you best achieve the desired effect anyway, though the attention to detail in the eyes and the fur of the hat are good too.
