Alright, so it's currently spirit week at my school and tomorrow's 80s day. I want to dress up for this one but I'm not sure on what to do for everything. I know that I'm wearing leggings/denim mini skirt and converses. I'm not quite sure what to do for a shirt. I was thinking maybe a bright oversized turquoise shirt that my grandmother has...the neck is wide so that it slips off one shoulder. I've got a few bright accesories to go with it too. I guess what I'm asking is if that sounds like an 80s outfit? I'm going to big putting my hair in a high side-ponytail. I need tips on how to get the big hair//bangs thing tho. And how did they do makeup back then? I'm not sure exactly how to have any of it, tried searching but didn't find much. And it's harder since I have to make do with what we have at home. Tips? Suggestions? Help?
 Oh, and if you could suggest anything for my guy-friend? It would be much appreciated as he has no idea what to do for his outfit |

  Maybe not quite that heavy on the makeup, but you get the idea  And for the guy...  Haha. Something punk-ish, I guess. I'm not really sure. Tight blue jeans, a button-down polo thing, and some dockers, maybe? Idk about that one. |

leather jackets, or even just denim. or have you seen totally awesome? yeah. and you can make your bangs big by getting one of those round brushes and blowdrying them. :] yesssss. |

Yeah uh...today was the 80's day & I didn't see these posts until now since it was kinda late, but thanks for your help! ^^
Today was fun & rather hilarious. I ended up with leggings/denim mini skirt, huge bright turquoise oversized one-shoulder shirt, converses, half my hair up in a side ponytail[since it's med length & layered couldn't get it all] and it was all wavy/curly/frizzy/bedheady with huge stiff bangs, a few brightly colored bracelets, bright pink lipstick, bright blue eyeshadow with dark thick black eyeliner/mascara, hot pink nail polish, and some hoopdisc type black & pink earrings. bwahaha =] I shocked some people to say the least...But I think more were just surprised to actually see me in a skirt xD mk, well, since this is over I guess it can be closed? thanks |

Oh, you go to my school, don't you? I was about to tell you not to wear leggings and call that 80s, since that's what everyone did and it drove me insane. Nevermind then.
