HOWEVER, yeahh its true that many other asian nations like Japan can also be Pacific islanders. and yea yea yea, (asked the Dad about it,) because i got hella confused we are SouthEast Asian also.

However, historically, we are asian, because of our many mixed heritages, such as malaysian and chinese decent.
So i mean its all based on the person and what they wanna be considered.

Yes we are. I grew up there and I was taught that we are southeast asian. If you call us Pacific Islanders...then so are you because Japan is composed of islands.
But I guess it's okay if some filipinos prefer to classify themselves as Pacific Islanders..But I do call myself asian.

The other is pacific islander, maybe mixed with asian heritage (like chinese blood) and some spanish blood, you get the whole idea when the spanish took control of the Philippines. And yes, Philippines is classified as Asians, otherwise Japan would be Pacific Islanders; take it to be that we are apart of Asia. If you have an Asian Avenue, filipinos on the web are classified to be asians there too. I'm asian no matter what, I'm filipino but I still have chinese blood within me.

well everyone knows this. asians are really smart, not all asians, just those who attempt to be and are. you see when asians immigrate here to american, it's an oppuortunity. the typical asian parents are always wanting their offspring to stand out in academics. I'm not racist, but the thing is asians are very productive; and as I mentioned not all asians. But a lot of technology was made by asians.
