So A&F is coming out with a new line, or maybe it's already out, it something like that. For my Fashion Arts class, I have a final and its basically a do whatever you want project and I decided to do the branch Ruehl because I was looking up their stuff and it's pretty banginggg. I like the whole abercrombie still trying to attack people after they get out of college look. I mean, to me it looks pretty decent so I am doing that. The question is, what exactly should I do for it? I can't find many pictures nor much information. I got some stuff off wikipedia but there isn't too much to really talk about besides what it is. I also want to do like a really cool visual, or just make my presentation awesome. I did find a few things that I liked, but they really weren't school appropriate so I can't use those pictures.

I know! Not a lot of advertistement for Ruehl. If you live in San francisco, or near it, there`s a store in the downtown shopping center. I only walked by it, it looked cool. I regret not going in. laugh.gif What is the assignment?

You should definatly include the business aspect, and how AF is trying to dominate all parts of the market, ranging from like...teenybopper preteens to middle-aged people.

did you try ebay for pics?

If you got some stuff from Wikipedia, look in Works Cited section and click on any links there.

And I'd also do what Mireh suggested and take the business aspect. Fompare the A&F's success in reaching to all of the demographics compared to other labels that have tried/are trying to do the same thing. Right now, only Gap comes to mind, but I know there are others.

I would intro with abercrombie > Hollister > A&F > Ruehl 925

If you go to www.abercrombie.com
& on the bottom it says Careers (I think that's what it says....)
& click that and then on the left click Brands.
and then it has info on their 4 brands.

The assignment is pretty open. All she said was for our final, we would be doing a presentation on anything related to fashion and all we needed was a visual. She said that she would trust our judgment about everything else so I want to make it pretty out there.

Mireh - I did ebay some pictures, but I really didn't find their supposed style. I found a lot of hoodies just like A&F that say Ruehl on it. I know they probably sell a range of things, but for some reason it is pretty difficult to find they style they claim to have.

And I definitely like the idea of how A&F is basically monopolizing and competing with itself.

LOL THATS AN OPEN INVITATION TO MAKE SOME B*LLSH*T up lol. seriously.

you really wont find that much cause they want everybody to know of it by word of mouth. when it because popular they will release more information. but

ohh TRY EMAILING A&F maybe that would work. but as for pictures the only pictures i got was at yahoo search.

their style is more older and its more new york instead of california . you know what i mean make stuff up, read btween the lines. lol

Haha, Yeah. I heard that Ruehl was hella expensive. There's one in our mall, Westfield. It has ALL of their 4 brands. Abercrombie, Abercrombie&Fitch, Hollister, and Ruehl. I never really checked it out, but I heard it was expensive.
