The reason why i posted this was because I was wondering if my school was the only one basically like the school in Mean Girls. Like I seriously see cliques...its kinda like segregation if you think about it. But we're segregating ourselves...

Im in the Preppy peoples "klan" but sometimes I feel like people just assume that I'm white and that i live in a certain neighborhood becuase of my grades and the way I talk/ dress. _unsure.gif

Oh, this one:
http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88881

But I guess they are different. This one's about your school's cliques and that ones about what clique you are in shrug.gif

Well I don't really fit in to any clique that I know of anyway. I get sterotyped at times, like when I first started going to the school I'm attending now. I don't really try and stay out of it all, but I do like that movie and my high school is somewhat like that. You can really see it when you go to lunch though, but once you get past the few months of school it starts to come out to be like the end of the mean girls movies. I suppose thats pretty good.

I'm a bit sorry about your school, and perhaps over time it will end up like the end of the movie as well flowers.gif

I hate stereotyping other people.
In just about every school, theres what you'd call a 'clique' or maybe just a group of friends that seem to be prettier or dress better or are just more 'popular'. There isn't exactly much you can do about it since this is just natural, yeah?

I'm kind of in that snobby elitist smart person group... Not really geeks or preps or anything... Just people who are fairly artistic and think they're better than everyone =[

If you can call what I'm in a clique, then you'd call it the losers' clique...Yeah, that's where I am. But I'm okay because they're nice people (if rather a bit strange).

I'm definitely not in a clique, because too many cliques can cause chaos. Well at my school it can. I've been through that one too many times. I used to be in the kind of stuck-up clique last year, and bad things happened. So I guess I learned my lesson. I basically despise cliques. I was like the biggest bitch to people last year. I was kind of like the male version of New York from Flavor of Love lol. My attitude was bad and it didn't help me at all.

Yea, I was in the no-clique clique. Actually, I get to migrate around since I have friends from different groups of... people. Staying in one place and being labled is boring.

I talk with everyone, but I find myself with the drama & choir nerds more than other cliques.

Um, no matter how much people complain about stereotyping, there's always going to be stereotypes. There's nothing we can really do about it.

I'm more in that...uh. Typical nerd/asian group. :]

My school- my class in particular- is ridiculously cliquey. Hell, band could be considered a clique, and it's made up of cliques. I also have no real problem admitting that I've been really cliquey this year. More social, but more selevtive in who I talk to, it that makes sense. It kind of contracdicts itself. There's minimal people I talk to on a consistent basis, but I talk to more people more easily now. But yeah, I've grown tired of most people, and thus those of us who still like each other isolate ourselves as much as possible *shrug* I guess I'm more cliquey within the band, but more social outside of it. But I spend so much time among the band, that that feels like the more significant part.

If there was a clique for Chinese girls who talk about weird things and have weird inside jokes and act weirdly, I would be in it.

We.. don't have cliques.

Everybody hangs out with everybody. Seriously. Okay, so people do talk shit to each other, but it's more of a backstabbing-I-once-was-your-friend shit talk. Not because she's that emo-wannabe girl, so I'm talking shit about she wants to be emo and cuts her wrists.
I mean, no matter what your race is, your clothing style, your taste in music, and the way you look, there will be someone there who could be the complete opposite. Still friends. And then you still are friends with someone who dresses like you.

Ex: (Shoot me for using stereotypes, but it's just easier since you know what they are :D) A girl who wears Hot Topic clothes, dresses in "punk" clothing, and listens to PATD, Escape the Fate, I Hate Kate, etc. could become good friends with someone who wears hella baggy clothing from Ecko and listens to the latest music on MTV. And then they'd both be hanging out with a really smart and shy straight-A kid with glasses (often labeled as a NERRRD :P).

I friggin swear man.

My school isn't too bad with cliques. There's obviously going to be a little bit, but everyone usually gets along.

I have friends spread out among the little groups, but I tend to stay towards the art/drama people.
