I think a lot of juniors here start having girlfriends, but I'm a freshman. Second question is, if you still don't have a GF during senior year, is THAT a problem?

High school? Relationships are starting in middle school nowadays. It's kind of pointless there. Heh, anyhow, I think the real stuff begins around junior year. Maybe sophomore...depending on who you are.

Also, you live in the 201 area? I'm in the 973! Haha.

Of course it's not a problem. Don't expect to have a girlfriend though; that's just dumb. People aren't going to want to be you or be with you just because you're a senior.

People start relationships at all sorts of ages nowadays.

My first [only..] actual real relationship was in the middle of my freshman year, actually. It lasted until my junior year and then.. yeah.. Now it's not so fun. But nothing's wrong if you don't have a gf/bf your senior year. High school people are like immature or whatever anyways in my opinion.

Depends how mature you are and whether the other person actually likes you. Starts in middle school but i guess you can say it's not 'real' or whatever. Maybe sophomore..freshman if possible.

Freshman, kids are strting early these days. At school freshman are doing drugs, drinking, and everything. But sophmores and up are in more of real relationship kind of thing, at least in my school.

Depends on the maturity of the person.

Some kids might have girlfriends freshmen,
sophmore, junior, senior year..
But they're still immature idiots and only think
about having a girl with a fine ass.

And then again it depends on the girl, one girl can mean
the world to a guy another girl a guy could care less about.

There's also no problem with having no one during senior year.
Some people just haven't found the right person at that point to be with.
Some people don't even want to get into relationships until they're older..

Meh, I would want a boyfriend at around sophmore/junior year. There isn't a problem if you dont have a girlfriend/boyfriend when you're a senior. Like what suddenly she said, just because you're a senior doesn't mean people are going to date you. >_>

Well, it seems like at my school most kids are in their first real relationship junior year. I'm a junior this year, and it seems like there's more people dating than ever.

I'm just now getting close to being in a relationship for the first time, so there's nothing wrong with being a senior and not having a girlfriend. ;]

I don't think theres any problem with someone waiting til their out of high school to have relationships. In school relationships sometimes seem really overrated and people over dramatizes relationships. I have a guy friend that hasn't been in a relationship all high school, hes only a sophmore though so he still has some time. But hes pretty determined to stay single and just finish school and focus on that for now. Then in college he'll meet his special someone.

I dont think their is no problem with anyone getting a realtionship after your Senior year. Its full of drama and bitches trying to take other girl's guys and its ridiculous. College could be a good way because (hopefully) people are more mature and have a brain. Most of the guys in my school think its funny to constantly back talk to a teacher every freakin day of the damn year. After saying the same line over and over again it gets annoying. stubborn.gif

Haha.
My whole high school is immature.
xD

--but like...if they were really determined, then I guess around sophmore or junior year it'd be serious.

Got my first bf when I was in grade 10...but it wasn't so much a relationship as...I don't even know what you'd call it. A crush that got out of hand? There was no emotional connection whatsoever and turned out he didn't even like me all that much. Only asked me out because he knew how much I liked him and thought it'd be the right thing to do. Needless to say, we ended things early. I think we lasted a month.

Now...my first more serious relationship with a guy would be with my boyfriend. We started dating during the beginning of school this year...and we're in first year University.

Highschool relationships aren't always fake and non serious because I've seen some of the couples lasting for more than 2 years while in highschool...but most are just experimenting =P

at my school people are more in an on-and-off relationships rather than in a tight relationship.

freshman: tries to act cool, thinks drugs make them cool, and think getting wasted is the best thing in the world. lots of relationships and coincidently a lot of break-ups too.

sophomore: guys try to be toughest and try to get the most girls whereas the girls try to be the most popular. almost all relationships come to an end here and very little relationships form.

junior: drama..drama..drama..

senior: guys don't want to be a virgin. girls don't want to leave high school. any relationship that survived from freshman year is likely an ideal, tight relationship.

*this is what i think of my school, hahah
i'm none of the above though

I moved around too much when I was younger, so the first real relationship I had was Freshman year in School. Even then it wasn't anything, I was like 14. Either way it really doesn't matter. High school is just over dramatic and immature.

My first serious relationship wasn't until after High School anyways. I wouldn't worry about it. ^_^
