our valentine's dance is coming up and i'm stumped on how to ask my guy. for homecoming he did a relaly cute way by asking me to go mini golfing with him and then at the end he tossed me a golf ball that said 'homecoming?' on it. so i have to be cute ab it too lol

so no just straight out, 'will you be my date' thing.

any ideas?

Awww, how he asked you sounds so cute. That just gave me an idea for the guy I like. _smile.gif

Maybe try making him a cake or something, and say what you want to say to him in frosting on it? Every guy likes cake.

Put a butter in his locker. The next day put a pop corn. The next day, go to him and say "Now that I've buttered you up, I'm going to pop the question"

Just kidding.
I will slap you if you do that.
Just ask him straight out.

How do you know that he's not going to ask you? He did ask you to Homecoming, after all. But if you really want to ask him, I suggest the cake thing that was mentioned earlier (I'm sorry I don't know your name, happykmd). Everyone loves cake! And then you two can eat it together later on. _smile.gif

^ Haha, who would have thought he would have a good idea like that. tongue.gif

I just had another idea too... you could leave him a note in his locker giving him a hint to find the next note... it could be a series of notes leading him to something. :]

It's not a bad idea, but isn't that like copying what he did? She should do something different...like have one of those see through binders, and the cover should say "Dance?" or something. Then she should run smack dab into him, drop her stuff and when he sees the binder, he should get the clue.

Sorry, that's kinda lame =/ Nvm mind me. Go with the cake.

Draw them a picture and maybe sticky a note that says, you me and the dance?. _unsure.gif Or you can just ask him straight up.

hi. i just read this.. and i totally get stumped on this kind of stuff too, but one day i was reading and saw this really cute idea..and i used it.. it was cute. haha

but the idea is kinda flying pigs i guess..

what i did was. i had a box that was closed and said i would only ask you to turnabout if pigs could fly so... and then he opened the box and out came pink balloons with tails and a drawn nose.. and at the bottom of the box it said, will you go with ... and then i turned around the corner holding a balloon that said Me! :)

it was really cute..

but goodluck.

My friend is asking his girlfriend to marry him by making a word search puzzle that, when the words are circled, will spell out the question. Then he's going to ask the local newspaper to put it in an issue to give to her, so it's a surprise.

You could also make a Chinese food date and put it in a fortune cookie.

"You going to the dance?" "Yeah" "You got anyone to go with?" "No" "Oh, I see, well, would you go with me?" "Yes"
