okay so I wanted to request a layout and i get a message saying that i have to post at least 50 post? so how in the world do I do that? i have posted more than 4 times. it says i have only posted 4 times. ill never get to 50 if thats the case. i guess ill never get to request anything

Yes, that's the requirement.
Don't worry! Just post around cB; get to know people, and you'll be to 50 in no time. Some people even make 100 posts in one day. If you post in the Sandbox, it doesn't add to your post count. Just a heads up.

Just take your time and post. You'll get there. It's really not that hard to get 50 posts.

if you post in sandbox - you wont get your post count up.
that's all i know for now. you can post in the lounge, other interest forums, pictures, and others in the community center.  some parts of the forum where you post dont higher your post count up. :P

thats weird if you post in the sandbox that it doesnt add a post count. what a rip off. i am use to posting on JJB and now that I come here its like, woah! i have to get use to here. anywhoo... thanks for your help. i kinda felt left out when i found out. i felt as if i werent important. but now i know what i have to do. lol. i guess ill be up til midnight posting. ahahah happy posting to me. lol.

Most of the posters have already said it all. 50 post isn't as much as you think. Just go about the forums and browse for topics that spark your interest. (Beware of the humor and the sandbox)
 Comment to your desire and watch your post count go up (Just don't spam  ) Don't worry, you'll reach 50 in no time.

Yes, don't spam. Get to know the boards, it's so much easier to make more posts when you know your way around.

^The feedback thing has been changed recently, but yes. :)
What I do when I'm having a hard time finding a place to post is click the "view new posts" link at the top of the page. That will bring up a list of recent topics in all the different forums - it keeps you from having to dig through the forums to find something, and you don't miss as much that way. Above all, work on trying to get settled in with the community, I think you'll find that there are a lot of nice people here and you might want to stick around. The designer will be more willing to help you if you show them you aren't just here to get the layout and then leave. |

It depends on how much you talk/post. For some people, it's pretty easy to go through 50 in one day. It took a while for me since I can't find interesting topics sometimes. Btw, some people don't do the request. There are the few who will actually do some of the requests, but sometimes it won't be seen. But its worth a try. I requested one and a girl started working on it. But she never finished....=/ |
