Anyone having a problem uploading animated pictures to myspace?
Says 'Unknown error occoured' I've read the FAQ and the picture follows the guidelines. Are animations now restricted? |

I just uploaded an animated .gif icon, and it worked fine. :\
It may be the image that you're trying to upload, or it may just be myspace being glitchy.. |

Ok, let me try it, haven't tried it recently.
Thanks. Edit: Nope, same thing :(.. It may be the image, it's like a real life animation picture. |

Is the file size too large? That's the only thing I can think of.. what the image is of shouldn't matter when uploading.

Nope, 32.5 KB (33,340 bytes), Myspace allows 600k.
I think if it's too big, it would've said Image too big, instead of Unknown error. I posted a similar thread on Myspace forums, a person responded saying he couldn't upload an animated gif either. Odd. |

Then its something with myspace. Not the image, so there isn't much you can do besides attempting to contact them.
