That's horrible! But yeah.. pretend to go along with it and sneak behind her back. What she doesn't know won't hurt her. =] Just try to help cover your friend along the way since I'm sure she might be nervous about sneaking around depending on how the mother is.

I dunno, usually parents have pretty good reasoning behind that stuff... it depends on why...

Kinda keep it low profile, i guess. Dont make it too obvious. they probably can't see each other very often without people knowing, but they should try to stay in touch as often as possible.

her mom doesn't like my friend is because he's not from where she's from, so her mom thinks it's bad.

That's pretty much exactly what happened to me last year. Her father just simply wouldn't let me date her. Her family was moving to Florida, and she was able to stay up here. Her father just said no more to dating me and dragged her down to Florida. I shoulda' punched him in his face!

We "weren't" together for a while. That lasted for about a month. It's a really shitty situation though! :-[

thats crazy to spend alot of money moving away over something as lame as this. I think your friend should just break up with him but keep in touch with each other. her parents and his parents should have a chat and then her mom needs to get a reality check that this is the MODERN world. But i think if they like really really LOVE each other then they should stay together no matter what and keep seeing each other no matter how far away they are to make her mom even more angry that she cant keep them apart. wink.gif
