Imminence
You are blisteringly hot and multi-hued,
With colors that won't be able to run off my mind,

My chest thumps and my heart pounds when I feel the presence of you behind me,
I hanker after the leading light,

As I become excited I become uniformly fearful,
Fearful that you might suddenly become absent; fearful that the sudden feeling will slowly wane away,

I want to show you the best of me,
The best of what I have and what holds universally within me,

Like ice, I am solid and paralyzed,
With frost on my knees, lacking strength and effectiveness,

With eyes considerably immobilized,
With solid frames around me,

But as spring disembarks, my passive, inner-love thaws,
Causing myself to pursue my inner realization with buoyancy.
