does getting your belly pierced hurt??? |

i want to get my belly pierced but im not sure if it hurts my sister got hers done a few years ago but then it got infected so she took it out... so if you have gotten yours done could u tell me if it hurts or mot and then if you know what are the chances that it could get infected?? im plannin to get it done in a few months if it doesnt hurt that bad so im takin your advice.... 1-10 (10 being the worst pain) how bad did it hurt?

a girl at work did. she was gong for it, shes so scared of needles. so she fainted and the needle was half way through so they took it out and she never got it, some people say it hurts like asfhasfsd but some just asay pain goes away after a while

It's a small pinch. But if you're scared of the pain start with something simple like your ears.

i rate the pain like a 3 its over in like 10 seconds my nose hurt more than my belly!!

I got mine done when I was 12... if you dont focus on getting it pierced... like focus on the radio if they have it on... or sing a song to yourself (obviously in your head) and then there will be hardly any pain at all...
also... mine got infected but only because i am illergic to the metal... so if you look after it properly it shouldnt get infected!! |

it didn't hurt me at all.. i guess it just depends on your pain tolerance. and the chances of it getting infected is low if you do what they tell you to, and clean it right.

Um, yes. I wouldn't know since I don't have mine pierced, but you can assume it hurts a significant amount more than getting your ears pierced.

The first time I had it pierced it didn't hurt too much. I do have a pretty high threshold for physical pain though. Having said that, it hurt A LOT when I had it re-pierced a few months after my son was born. Piercing an area that has scar tissue is very painful. (I actually had the ring in until my seventh month of pregnancy. The doctor forced me to take out. :( )

Cartilage is naturally going to hurt more since it's actually somewhat solid... >.< |

i think it hurts... but then again how would i know... i don't even have earrings!
i know that if you get it you can't shower or wash until the pierce part heals... and it might get infected from not showering... and you might stink too... and the stink would be worse if you have your period. |
