okay, so..back in 2004, my dad and i went to china. we got feet massages for some odd reason..and while my massager person massaged my feet..she said that she felt a small "boil" somewhere on my foot (obviously) and said that i shouldnt be eating spicy foods or else one of my organs will explode. of course, i didnt even listen to what she saying. mostly because i adore anything spicy. i love it. i breathe. i cannot live without it.

but, now..ive been going sort of wacko. i keep thinking that im going to die or something. and my stomach has always hurt after i eat anything spicy. like..it feels like my stomach acid is trying to avoid it or something.

so, my question is..does anyone know the bad impacts on the human body from spicy food? (i know it helps immunity or something. but that's a good effect.) and, is it actually possible for an organ to explode from spicy foods?

I don't actually think there's any side effects from eating spicy food - that lady was probably just crazy lol. I really don't see why there would be anything bad about it. Spicy food is cool, except some really spicy ones make me tear, anyone ever eaten jerk chicken? lol.

I don't really think there's a negative side affect from spicy foods. I mean, any kind of food you eat is going to have good and bad things about it and how it affects your body. Some people just can't handle spicy foods. Growing up I used to love spicy foods but my mom can't handle spicy foods and lots of other kinds of foods because her digestive system is messed up from Chemo and Radiation and mainly from her LMS so we don't really have spicy foods in my house. I guess that made me lose a taste and immunity to it because it wasn't around.

^ Yes, heartburn..
It destroys the lining of your esophagus. (And stomach too, I think. That'd probably cause an ulcer.) Now, I don't remember exactly what that does because I learned it too long ago, but it's bad for you. You could possibly lose your voice.

You can lose your taste sense if you eat too much spicy stuff.

I think it's possibly for parts of your body to be damaged... I saw this one hot sauce that was so dangerous more then a dab of it would kill you blink.gif
