For anyone who's seen the Vagina Monologues or has heard it spoken of this way, the vagina is like a blooming flower. Now I don't know about you but I think the Orchid most closely resembles a vagina. Take a look...







I'm not allowed to post a picture of a vagina but considering that we're all girls here, I don't think it's really necessary.

See the resemblance?



I've been refering to my vagina as a Orchid for some time now. It makes me feel good actually. Makes me feel pretty and feminine and reminds me that I have something very beautiful and precious to cherish, nurture, and protect. I encourage you all to do the same! Protect those young flowering buds my friends and keep those petals healthy and intact!

Orchids work though, and probably smell prettier. :) It does denote femininity though.

I remember coming upon a website that showed this comparison so well (but with a variety of flowers, not just the orchid). I tried googling, but can't find it at the moment. I know I was freaked out about how well a human body part can accurately resemble something in nature. laugh.gif

Now that I think about it, I can't think of anything natural that a pee-pee resembles. That means girls' poontangs > boys' wee-wee's.

Ah I've heard of the Vagina Monologues, and I guess it does kind of resemble one. Which is kind of ironic since i went to the doctor that deals with that type of stuff for men and women, my grandpa was having some kind of problem I didn't want to know about and they had paintings of those types of flowers, laugh.gif how ironic.

i know at my school, we celebrate V-Day, which falls on Valentine's day, but isn't that, it's Vagina Day. it's about being a woman and what not. but i remember they brought it rugs that were made to look like vaginas. i should suggest they bring in orchids lol. _smile.gif

My family loves orchids. We have dozens in the backyard and my uncle sells them for a living.

But now, everytime I look at orchid, guess what it'll remind me of? sick.gif
