Aside from that, I liked everything I got for Christmas. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't say so because at least I got anything at all.

You're digging yourself into a hole.

You should be greatful that you lived to be 16. What do you mean "decent" party? Having a party should be enough. Atleast someone cared enough about you to have a party for you.

true that, true that.

you don't know what it's like to have parents ignore you. ive never gotten anything from my dad and my mom isn't alive. ive never been thrown a birthday and we never go out to eat on my birthday. it's as if it's just a regular day. i really wouldnt be talking. because obviously..you're taking everything for granted.

oh ,and btw. i turned 16 this year too.
you may want to think about what you said. because it makes you sound like a stupid laguna beach kid.

i agree with what they both said. my mom's not alive either, you really need to realize how lucky you are... at least you have both of your parents and the fact that you even had a party. as far as liking what i got for christmas, i loved everything i got and am so greatful for my family and friends.

I got a new Ipod Nano. But my USB port on my computer doesn't work and my dad's too lazy to upgrade his version of Windows on his computer for me to be able to download Itunes so basically it's useless.

And I got a videocamera. . . my family's already pissed about that.
"Who got her the videocamera?! Now we'll be in one of her documentaries for the rest of our lives!"

I picked everything out that was from my grandparents, so that stuff was fine. My dads stuff was a little eh, but I'll live.

I kind of gave the mp3 player back to him and told him to get his money back for it.

I'm waiting for my presant from my boyfriend, that should be nice.

I didn't get a Sidekick 3 though, which kinda' brought my excitement down. ermm.gif

I told my parents that because I'm 19 I thought I was too old to still be asking for things for Christmas, so instead I bought them presents. I didn't expect to get anything, but they surprised me with the news that I should be expecting a sewing machine!

I cried.

But I won't turn it down. It's already on the way. I'll just make sure I make nice things for the house, too. I'm so grateful that they thought of me, even though I asked them not to.

My boyfriend was going to get me an iPod but I didn't want it. So he's going to get me a PSP this weekend. And I'm happy, I wanted the PSP for my birthday last month.

But I also got money so I can buy those myself. :)

I really liked what I gave, though. I got my sister a Disney Princesses piano and the Disney Princesses DVD player. And gave my boyfriend the game Gears of War and shirts from AE (his favorite store). And they both loved it. Especially my sister.
