OK so i want to take a screen shot of a layout. So i press F11 and then prt sc [[Print Screen]] button and then i want to paste it in photoshop 7.0 but it didnt copy it. Im so confused can anyone help me and explain in plain english??

Yea thats what i did. I went to went to the page and pressed F11 and then Alt+Print Screen. the I went to photoshop and tried to paste it but it said i didnt copy anything. The thing i dont get is the part it says "Open the web page in the web browser. On Windows, press the Print Screen or Prnt Scrn"

That part is telling you to go to the webpage you want to take a screenshot of . Then hold down the Prnt Scrn button. Then hit ctrl v in photoshop, after you make a new document.

prt sc, print screen, and Prnt Scrn are the same thing. The key should be over by the numbers. Different places for different computers.

- Go to the webpage.
- Hold down Alt + Prnt Screen or just Prnt Screen. (Hold it down for a little bit) - Open a new document in a program like paint or photoshop. - The hit ctrl v . If it doesn't work for you in photoshop try another program and just carry it over there. |
