It comes out more fuzzy and icky? That is most likely because when you save it , its not being saved for web and that can easily alter the quality of an image.

If you have photoshop you can go to file > save for web that will help. I'm not sure if its posisble in the program you use. pinch.gif

i know exactly what you mean i have irfanview too.
okay well when the picture is on irfanview go to Image
at the top.
then go down and click resize/ resample.
then in width type in 600.
it will automatically adjust the height so you wont need to set that.
then go and save that picture.
not save as.
save.
then go to myspace and in the upload box you should upload your file and it will be all better.
like in your picture index it will look small. and then when you click on it it will get bigger.

gimpshop and photoshop is great for image resizing.. sorry just my .02

If you're using either one, go to the image option (i believe that's for both photo/gimpshop) and click size or resize.. then type in a smaller number than what it currently is.. example: currently 300px X 380px make it 250px X

sometimes if you just resize the height or the width, the other will resize proportionally.

Hah.
The paint princess would know that you can just use paint for image resizing.

Open the picture in paint.
Image >> Stretch/Skew

Change the numbers in the Stretch area.
Make both of the numbers the same.

...there.
none of your complex image programs.
Just paint.!
:]

No offense, but paint sucks...
Try imageshack.us to upload your pics... there are several sizes to upload your pics... including a 320x240

^ Some people can work with paint though, if you get it then its good for them I guess.

I think she's trying to upload the picture with myspace.
