my and friend and i started our own business. we sell gum, benadryl national guard merchandise and brush-ups out of our purses. we get the things for free so we automatically make a profit (my dad works at giant eagle and he gets all this on clearance and gives it to me). we think it's funny. we made $13 on our first week of business. we aren't sure what to do with the profits. maybe energy drinks

would you ever start a business? what would you do with $13?

Actually, that would be considered a partnership, not an entrepreneurship.

I would buy a CD with $13. mellow.gif

But if you want to spend the $13 on something for your business, I'd suggest advertisement (fliers, etc) or some stuff that you'd sell.

Ha ha, I've started something of a business myself.
I guess you could call me a semi-professional photographer. I do a lot of freelancing.

I make nothing that could support a family, but I make enough to pay for most of my equipment. I think I made at least $250 last month.

If I had $13, I would just save it. For real.

I would save the thirteen bucks. I wouldn't start my own business I would work with someone else. Than the more people to promote the business the more money we make. Then I'd take that money and put it in a money market... collect all that interest...

wow a whole 13 dollars?..hmm i'd RETIRE happy... tongue.gif justt kidding.

no seriously i'd save it. also as elaine had said this isn't entrepreneurship, its a partnership because you and your friend are doing this together, plus its your first profit- save it and let it grow. and you can tell your grand kids that the first time you had a partnership you made 13 dollars in one week.

Everyone wants to be an Entrepreneur now.
If you're serious about your business, put the money back into the business, and keep doing that. You will see your business grow rofl...from purses to backpacks...backpacks to car trunks!

i remember the first day i made a dollar. i poured all my change out and put into a vending machine to a share a diet coke w/ my friend. the machine was broken. i was pissed. then someone give us a pity dollar. i bought the coke and it tasted like sweet success.

I didn't think I would have time for this tonight but, how is this not entrepreneurship?

While there's minimal risk involved, the trade-off of time may balance out the lack of risk. We can assume that seeing how this is a small scale venture anyway. Aside from that, this can be considered as an entrepreneurship.

Its entrepreneurship,...They are offering a product to the public...and it could defenitly turn into something more! Congrats on the 13 bucks
