5566 is from Taiwan... they're umm, pretty pathetic to me.

One more news - Shanghai is hosting the World Expo in 2010.

Oh and Chinese literally pwned most of the gold medals in the East Asian Games currently in Doha... yea.

A lot...there really is no information on how many there really are, but the seven top ones include Putonghua (Mandarin), Gan, Kejia (Hakka), Min, Wu, Xiang and Yue (Cantonese). And Mandarin, of course, is the most common yeaaaah!

There's also a part of China where people speak fluent Taiwanese, but they don't call it Taiwanese...err forgot what it's called. But it's also where all the Taiwan people came from before they migrated. :)

Edit// OOOH I looked it up. Min includes Taiwanese and Wu includes Shanghainese. There you go. :)

I DO! I LEARNED IT IN APWH LAST YEAR!

Okok, Xia, Shang, CHOU (Zhou), Qian(?), Han, and I forgot the rest....uhh, must have spelled a couple wrong too. The rest in no particular order that I can remember: Tang, Song, Ming, Sui, Liao...
