I noticed that there's 86 members' pictures threads. That's a lot.


I went through them and there's only like 4 or 5 pictures per page. On my other forum, there was a rule that said you can't post in the member photo thread unless you post a picture. Cause then about 75% of thread is spam anyway. Also, it's kind of annoying to go through it and have to go through 59903845 comments before there's actual pictures.

Just a thought.

Right, but we probably don't require each post to have to contain a picture since that would take the dial up users forever to load each page.

Of course, we always say something if there's several comments in a row and no pictures.

We do. :)

However, some people enjoy making comments (albeit sometimes pretty colorful ones) about the pictures folks post here. Also, it's important to be considerate of those who are just too shy (or parents may not allow them, etc) to post pictures of themselves and it wouldn't be fair for those individuals to not have to opportunity to post there as well.

Its true that there are only like a few pictures on a page, and all the other is a ton of words. But its not like that thread has post count added so I guess it isn't a big deal..

You do raise your post count by posting in members' photos, but I think the point is that it's hard to sift through all the photo topics. While I agree that it makes it difficult to search or go through every single thread, I would like to say that when people post pictures, they like to receive comments (and people like to give comments!), so I don't mind having so many topics if that's why.

We do, however, try to cut back on useless conversations not related to picture-posting, if that's what you're referring to..

First of all, there will be a list of member's gallery.

Members upload their image url on their own main gallery page.

Each gallery sub-page will have comments and one picture. Then, you will have an "arrow" to move onto a next sub-page under one's main page.

Anyways, every month, everyone's picture/comments will be deleted

It's a similar concept to Xanga regular page, where they type their blogs, and everyone comments about it
