BUT SO WORTH IT! never doing it again though.
i was late for church, i had my radar detector on, and i had to haul 30 miles in less than 15 minutes. it was pretty cold outside, so the roads were pretty slippery from the extreme cold. so, usually when i speed though that exit thats two huge circular turn my tires grip and i turn without barely burning out.. only a little bit. (it's two circular turns going right then another right). the first right turn in the exit went smooth, my tires gripping well, then the second turn (which is a good five seconds) made my car drift completely. might i add it's a tight one lane turn too. i downshifted my car which is normal, but little did i know i skipped a gear and gave a HUGE kick in my car (which is not pleasnt for sharp turns), and i started drifting tires burning out like no other on the right turn. you should've seen the smoke =P. I gassed my pedal because if i braked i would've crashed into the curve... and for a good five seconds i was maintaining a steady speed of 55mph... which to me is pretty insane, rpms flaring high in the 4.500s. then the turn was over, i straightened out my car... then i turned to my friend and yelled. WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! he said it was fun... but i was scared for my life. hey, at least i made it on time =] i drive a 07 scion tc btw. camry engines for life <3 |

Haha, around here people do that kind of stuff on purpose. I like it when you get it going for a long distance on "back roads" where you're car is sideways and going in that direction and then you quickly correct so your car does a 180. lol. As long as you don't hit anything.

Haha, awesome. One of my friends loves the idea of drifting and bought the movie Initial D recently. All about two guys who want to outdrift the other (I think; I've never seen the movie, anime, or read the series).
Mm...I like Tokyo Drift. XD; |

Hah, drifting is crazy fun. I've only done it once, but it wasn't in my car so I didn't try it too hardcore or anything. It was my friends car and he drifts a lot. When he does it, it's a lot of fun riding in the car.

Thats hard as hell, to drift a FWD car..
Today it has been rainy, I almost lost traction but Traction control kicked in. Normally my tires have like no traction.. What kind of radar detector do you have? |

It sounds fun. I'd do it if it was on a movie set or something & I would know that I have like a zero percent chance of dieing

Mm...I like to drift and am pretty good at it in Mario Kart (both 64 and Double Dash), but I cannot drift for my life in Need for Speed Underground 2 and my 10-year-old brother wouldn't show me how. So I gave up and went back to Mario Kart. XD
Robbi: Which movie? Initial D or Tokyo Drift? I love the latter. :] |

I'm guessing you were at fifth gear an accidently downshifted to 3rd? or 4th gear to 2nd? you should've pumped the gas pedal lightly, it gives you better control on your turns while your hydroplaning. i'm surprised you didn't blow your engine! pretty fun, yes!

I absolutely love Tokyo Drift. It's hilarious. I loved the beginning when that blonde girl was like, "How bout you guys win for me? My friend said that the storyline would've been better if they'd continued it, and I agree. The ending was okay, but it was kind of...abrupt. I hope there's a sequel. I should ask for it for Christmas or something. I was really sad when the nice Japanese guy died in the movie. He was the one who gave Sean his first car and said not to fxck it up...and then Sean totally trashed it. XD The girl Neela reminded me of Vanessa Anne Hudgens when I first saw her. o_o" |

haha yeah, i have a cobra 9210... which i got for free. it sucks, completely.. but i'm getting the bel sti for christmas, hardwired and loaded =]. if you're thinking of getting a radar detector, get the escort x50, valentine, or rx65.. if you live in the states like virginia or washington get the sti.
yeah, i didn't know i could do it on a fwdrive also... something that happens by luck through complete utter surprise. it's like those driving moments where you can predict the speed of the turn, but then you're wrong. haha =P i checked my tires, they weren't that bad. yokohama sports tires for life =]. thank you people for your concern that i'm alive... i'm grateful that i'm alive too. http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...p;#entry2372214 if you check here... you can check out my old totaled car =[. wouldn't want that to happen again. but yeah, if you're all up for the drifting era, make sure you have good amts of money for tires... drifitng is probably the sport where you abuse your car the most. and also, do it on the tracks, i hear it's 40 dollars to race for a few hours on the track. (depends) |
