Hello. This is one of my first attempts at making a layout and I really like how it came out in IE even if it is very simple.

tell me what you think. any suggestions to make it better?

In firefox it's all messed up and I don't know why. The table opacity is solid and the youtbue video I put inside a scrolling div box doesn't stay where it's supposed to. I don't know if you guys have any ideas

Well, I like the layout alot. You did a good job except for a few little things...

First, there's a huge empty space beneath the layout that bugs me. Also, you can sroll to the right and there's nothing there, which also bugs me. Make the layout so you don't have to scroll at all. If you have to have it srcoll down in order to cover the whole myspace default page, try changing the sroll bar to make it all white so no one sees it.

Second, the drop down selection from the search bar is still there, but the search bar is not. This code hides both: http://www.createblog.com/scripts/download.php?id=454

Third, there's quite a big space between the ad and the nav links. Maybe move the layout up a bit?

Fourth, the "submit" and "reset" would also look better if you changed it from default to colors to match the layout, then centered the buttons.

Fifth, the text in the content box looks too squished and hard to read. Maybe change it to the same text as you used in your nav links.

Sixth, In the comment box, I just noticed that there's only a little area to the right where you can click to type into. The rest don't work when you click in the box.

Overall it's very nice and I like the way it's set up, espicially if this is one of your firsts. If you tweak it a bit it'll be great! happy.gif

I like the simplicity with it. Couple of thigns we need to get straight. wink.gif

I like the idea of it. But the marquee going up with the pictures is it bit tacky. Not my kind of taste. If you like those pictures so much it also would have been a good idea to put them apart of the layout image? Now the backround is way to plain. It would be nice to add some color to it. Next, the font is really not my taste. It seems so default. Maybe a nice georgia font would have went well. Now in FF your profile has a horizontal scrollbar. I know you said it looks best in IE, but it won't hurt to make it compatible(sp?) in both FF and IE maybe even Safari. There's also a YouTube video coming out of no where in the backround. Other than that you did a rather nice job.
