I've read The Da Vinci Code twice. Only because I read Angels and Demons after I read it so I had to re-read it.
Anyone else share my love for his books? - Chinkieeyedpnoi |

I've been meaning to read this...I don't have money to buy the book, and there's a waiting list of about 100+ at my library, so I didn't bother asking if other libraries had it...heh. *Sigh* I so wanna read that book. It's so interesting...and I really do believe in the society. Although it does make so many people question their religion...

i've been meaning to try and buy it at my bookstore, but would you believe that they can't keep it in stock? and they won't reserve a copy for me either, cuz they said it would be 'unfair' to other people. ggrrr.

But yea, I've managed to read Angels and Demons and Deception Point. If you want to read a little more about the science vs religion thing, try The Case for Faith. |

They have some interesting theories, but his writing style is so...made for movies. It's so painfully obvious that he writes his books so they can one day be shown in theatres, especially The Da Vinci Code.

His writing isn't anything impressive. He doesn't grab your interest through the whole length of the book either. The stories, however, are extremely interesting. I love how everything ties in together and there are so many pieces to the puzzle.

I love how everything ties in together and there are so many pieces to the puzzle. That's exactly what I think. For sure, his writing isn't extraordinary or creative at all, but ideas, theories and little puzzles in his books are extremely interesting to read. |

Dan Brown sucks. The Da Vinci code was a great book, but after reading 2 more of his books, I realized that the "innocent, old guy" is always the one who was behind everything.

Dan Brown is so completely full of himself that I couldn't even get through Angels & Demons. Da Vinci Code was a rip off of The Da Vinci Legacies (a book I would recommend), a bad rip off at that. He's just another hack who lives through his over-glorified main character.

Dan Brown doesn't seem to know what a pronoun is.
Robert Langdon ran down the hall in a cliched style whilst Sophie *lastname* followed him in a similarly cliched style, until Robert Langdon fell over a cliched clue, Upon which Robert Langdon and Sophie *lastname* were able to solve the final mystery. However, unfortunately, the cliched villain caught up to Robert Langdon and Sophie *lastname* and did unfortunate things to Robert Langdon and Sophie *lastname*. Thankfully, because Robert Langdon is very clever, Robert Langdon managed to free Robert Langdon and Sophie *lastname* from the cliched villain's evil (yet cliched) clutches. Then Robert Langdon and Sophie *lastname* lived happily ever after, for Sophie *lastname* was the child of Jesus. |

^HAHA. It's because he kept typing: "Dan Brown ran down the hall in a cliched style".

Seriously! He kept going on and on and on (Yeah, I'm sure that ALLLLL happened in one night) then he just ended "And she was the descendent to Jesus Christ and we all lived happily ever after."
