I read it a while ago, and just today was assigned the book for English. I loved this book, although the second book, "Golden Thread" was a little sluggish. Your thoughts?

i have to read it for enlgish too. T___T
friggin teacher is giving a written and multiple choice test. overall, i thought the whole book was really good. i had to use sparknotes at the end of each chapter to clarify the chaper though. i think everything flowed well together, and the ending was really sad. spoiler *i hate madame defarge, but luckily she died. haha poor carton had to die, i really like the charcter he became by the end of the book.* |

I've read the book.
It was a while ago, though. It has a nice ending. I have not had the pleasure of reading Golden Thread, is it good? |
