The other topic, but it's rather old, so I decided to create a new one; a mod can close it if he or she thinks thats best.

But anyway, does anyone here watch this show? I throb.gif it! If you don't know about it, the description is here. Ahhh Jim and Pam, they were cute. But I personally think he'd go best with Karen. wub.gif

Gah, my friend's are in love with show. But I never knew when it was on :-X
I would've TiVoed it if I knew. But I'm strange and can't just start watching a show in the middle of season. I wouldn't know what's going on.

this is my favorite show (if you couldn't tell my sn, title, sig and av).

i'm a jam shipper but i do love me some jim/karen (as long as he ends up with pam in the end). :) right now, pam has to show that SHE wants jim. i mean, she did reject him (twice) so obviously we can't just expect them to just get together as soon as he's back in scranton. and judging from the preview for tomorrow's episode, jim is a little tepid. and he should be.

tomorrow is going to be great.

you should definitely tune it! it's on thursdays nights on nbc at 8:30.

i have the same problem as you, i can't start watching a show from the middle. but that's exactly what i did with this show! i didn't start watching until last season ended (i downloaded the first two seasons and it took me FOREVER to get through them because i kept falling asleep!) and luckily i finished before season three premiered. now i'm all caught up and it's by far my favorite show.

there are so many great characters on this show and you won't stop laughing.

my favorites are definitely dwight (!), jim, pam and andy. michael can get a bit annoying sometimes when he's trying too hard.

Ahhh, I LOVE the Office!

I'm getting really mad at Jim; I hate how the tables have turned for him and Pam.

The supersized episode last night was AWESOME! _smile.gif

i was hurting for pam last night. she was all excited that jim was coming back and was let down by his standoffnish and interactions with karen. :( her face when she saw karen touching jim's back... :( :( :(

and as for the parking lot scene, i think jim (even if unintentionally) was looking for her to say something, ANYTHING. but no, all pam could say was that they were friends, would always be friends. BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT JIM WANTS!

and the fact that he's "seeing someone," i did not expect him to get together with karen this quickly! and because of pam's reaction, i think i'm going to oppose the jim/karen relationship.

like some people have said, jim doesn't know how he feels about returning to scranton yet so he's clinging onto karen. (instead of having a coffee with pam, he's going out for a drink with karen.) >.<

and the fact that he's facing karen instead of pam at his new desk, NO! i want there to be pam pong! damn ryan for not giving jim his desk back.

anyways, onto non-jam parts of the episode: michael + dwight + andy = BEST EVER. and i loved stanley in this episode. and toby! and kelly!

kelly tells jim about brangelina and tom cruise and katie holmes.
jim: so what's up with you?
kelly: i just told you.

LOL.

and how about LAZY SCRANTON! lol. and the scranton witch project. gotta love michael.

OH NOOOO. I missed the episode. sad.gif lovefooled, I think a got a pretty good idea of the general outline of the show, but I'm still super sad that I missed it. Everyone kind of already knows that Jim and Pam will get together, but Karen deserves him too! And she did reject him, after all. Grrrrrr, I wish I didn't miss it.

And on a side note, lovefooled, I had somehow susupected (the avatar and sig helped) that you were a Jam fan. tongue.gif

it was a supersized ep, you NEED to watch it!

i wasn't against the jim/karen relationship until i saw pam's face. just the hurt. omg, it killed me. :(

but, pam had her chance to speak up. jim wanted to see if she had ANY feelings for him and she said nothing. she can't just expect him to wait around for her forever.

so, i'm looking forward to what pam is going to do to win jim and how her relationship with karen will be. (we all know she needs a girlfriend other than kelly!)

The Office is my Thursday night pick-me-up.
I absolutely adore that show! It's wonderful.

I think Jim and Karen will get together this season, and Pam will sort of run back to Roy. Then Karen will - for some reason - move away and Roy will battle with Jim for Pam's heart.

I agree, but it makes me sad! lovefooled is right, Pam needs to just speak up. And isn't it totally wonderful that Grey's Anatomy comes right after The Office? THURSDAYS=throb.gif

Mmmm, I doubt Pam will run back to Roy, but I do see Jim and Karen kinda getting together this season, probably not like a full-on relationship, but there's a spark between these two. wub.gif

call me joy. :)

and i agree, i highly doubt pam will get back together with roy. the whole time they were together, he took her for granted. but now he's all into her? too late, dude. you had your chance. and i think pam loves jim as well and she won't just get back with roy just because he's available and jim is not.

no new office this week. boo.

Pretty much the best ever: "Bros before hos. Why? Because your bros are always there for you. They have got your back after your ho rips your heart out...for no good reason. And you were nothing but great to your ho, and you told her that she was the only ho for you, and that she was better than all the other hos in the world. And then...then suddenly she’s not your ho no mo." Michael FTW!

The Office does that to you. A couple viewings and you're hooked. I didn't start watching until last summer. I had the first two seasons on my computer and it took me about a month to get through the first season (which is only 6 episodes, mind you) because I kept falling asleep! Luckily I caught up just in time for the season 3 premiere. And now it's my favorite show. :)

One of the best things I liked about the episode was that it was hilarious without the need of a special occasion (IE: Diwali and Christmas), it was just them doing their jobs. Good stuff.

Angela's death stare was the best.

And did you know that the actress that plays Carol (the realtor aka Michael's ex-girlfriend) is actually Steve Carell's wife in real life?

Jim and Pam SHOULD be together soon! Karen just confronted Jim about Pam and it looks like she's going to confront Pam about it in three or so episodes.

So hopefully that'll force Pam to spill the fact that she wants to be more than just friends with Jim.

My favorite Jim prank was Future!Dwight. LOL.

Jim: I don't have a ton of contact with the Scranton branch. But when I left, I took a box of Dwight's stationary. So from time to time I send Dwight faxes. From himself. From the future.

Fax: Dwight, at 8am today, someone poisons the coffee. DO NOT drink the coffee. More instructions will follow.

Cordially,
Future!Dwight

Dwight then sees Stanley with a coffee cup, runs to Stanley, screaming NOOO and knocks the cup out of his hands.

Dwight: You'll thank me later.

THE BEST.

And the CIA prank is a close second: You have been compromised. Abort mission. Destroy phone.

Ah my favorite part is in the last episode of the second season, I submitted a icon for it:

Jim: Ever since I was a little kid, like eight or nine, I could sort of control things with my mind.
Dwight: I don’t believe you. Continue.
Jim: It was just little things, you know, like I could make something shake, or I could make a marble fall off the counter, you know, just little things.
Dwight: That’s ridiculous. You know what? Uh, why don’t you move that coat rack? Excuse me, everyone, attention in the office, please. Jim is about to prove his telekinetic powers, and he needs absolute silence. Go ahead.
Jim: Okay, I’ll try.
Jim focuses on the coat rack. The coat rack moves. Pam reveals an umbrella. Pam winks at Jim. Jim grins and concentrates even harder.
Dwight (stunned): Oh my god.

I loved this part xD

And then during her Talking Head, Pam shows the umbrella. And then Dwight's all trying to move his bobblehead. LOL. It's great.

Michael makes Dwight the Regional Manager at Dunder Mifflin Scranton. Dwight makes Andy the Assistant (to the) Regional Manager. He also makes himself that. And Pam Secret Assistant (to the) Regional Manager. and paints his (Michael's) office black.

Jan stops in for a surprise visit and wants to get back together with Michael. He consults the ladies in the conference room and decides not to get back with her. But when he goes back into his office to tell her so, he sees that she's gotten a boob job. So he takes her back.

Pam apologizes to Karen for the Beach Day speech because it must have been uncomfortable for her. Karen tells her not to worry about it, people say stuff they don't mean all the time. But Pam corrects her and tells her she's been meaning to say that for a long time now. Which causes Karen to call Pam a bitch during her talking head.

While at his interview in NY, Michael finds out he's actually interviewing for Jan's job. He tells her. Jan gets a bit crazy and gets fired on the spot. And David tells Michael that they're not going to give him the job. But Michael still has his job in Scranton. So he goes back.

Karen and Jim are also interviewing. Karen goes first and then she leaves Jim to go out with her girlfriends and tells him to call her when he's done. Jim sits there and hears the receptionist pick up the phone and say, "Dunder Mifflin, this is Grace" and gets this look on his face. He goes in for his interview and David asks him where he sees himself in ten years. Jim flashes back to Beach Day where he and Pam are having a little talk. (He tells her he left for Stamford because he had to be anywhere but here. And even though he came back, he didn't really come back. And Pam says, "I wish you would.")

Pam's Talking Head is talking about how she thinks Jim probably got the job because he's smart and qualified and everyone loves him. And if he never comes back, it's okay because they're friends. They just never got the timing right. And it's okay, she's totally fine, everything is going to be okay. AND THAT'S WHEN JIM BURSTS IN AND ASKS HER IF SHE'S FREE FOR DINNER THAT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JIM AND PAM ARE GOING ON A DATE!!!

And who got the job at corporate? RYAN THE TEMP! LOL. The last scene:

David: So I know we left the other day on a note of uncertainty. But after some more thought I'm very pleased to be able to offer you this job. Great! I'm so glad. We're all very excited that you're going to be joining us. It'd be nice to have another MBA around here.
Ryan: I'm excited, too. Okay. Bye.
Kelly: Who was that?
Ryan: Nobody. You and I are done.
Kelly: WHAT?!

i am so glad you remade this topic. i LOVE the office<3 and i thought jim & karen looked good together only because i think karen's really pretty but pam is absolutely gorgeous if she were to put some make up and glam it up.

pam & jim will always be a favorite just because their intense relationship/chemistry is undeniable. they just go together like pb & j. although i have to say i was a little disappointed when they got together at first because i was angered @ pam for being engaged to what's his face and not leaving him. but then i fell in love with them all over again. especially when jim got on his knee and looked like he was about to propose but instead tied his shoe.

i looked at the previouse 5 pages and didn't see a recent topic for 'the office'.
i've always wanted to watch this show but never had the time to.
but it's summer now and until i get a second job i have some time to watch it.

there's already 4 seasons but 3 we have. my bf and i have been watching it everyday for about a week. we're almost done with the 3rd season.

who here is in love with this show?
dwight, micheal, jim, alcoholic meredith, talkative kelly and her obsession with ryan.
i could go on and on about this show. well this show and how i met your mother.
two of my most favorite shows.

I LOVE the office.
some people think its stupid and poorly done because of the
sometimes bad camera work and they show the awkward moments
after someone is done talking
but i think it makes it more funny :)
